The Boathouse - Worcester

Great choice of food, and the weather was perfect for afresco dining on the terrace. We will definitely be returning very soon,,great place to relax with friends.

Excellent,we go to the boathouse quite frequently. Food is excellent, we usually have the grazing boards, staff are really friendly. Mary really looks after us, knows what we want and is very efficient. Sat on balcony overlooking river last evening, perfect.

We had a most enjoyable evening the food was lovely, we haven’t eaten much tapas, but will certainly return at some point, your staff are very friendly and helpful, we look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Whilst we picked a busy time during the blues festival the staff were excellent and the food was wonderful. The food came in a timely manner as expected with tapas. Special mention for Mary for looking after us so well.

The Boathouse serves a superb selection of tapas dishes, with accompanying fine wines, a varied gin and cocktail menu. The waiting team are attentive and the restaurant is lovely. A super venue.

Nice location, decent decor and the food and wine we had was good, though not great. Portion sizes were fine. Wine list prices were fair - not as inflated as some restaurants. Unimaginative bread served with olives and a fairly naff cheesecake that could have been made by my 8 year old granddaughter were the only food downsides. As for service, a rudimentary welcome and less than attentive service by people some of whom seemed quite uncertain took the edge off the evening a little bit. Fairly enjoyable experience but not quite what was expected.

This was our first time to the boat house, we really enjoyed the food. The food was presented lovely. If we came again we all said we would have a couple of extra tapas and leave the puddings. The staff were lovely and very polite and informative and knolage about the dishes. Will come back again.😋😋😋👏👏👏

Very good riverside tapas place with good Spanish house wine. Service exemplary. Will return soon with family. Top tips: chicken flambé and grilled med veg are to die for!

Brilliant place to eat! Great variety of food and lovely helpful staff. Sat on the river Severn front, it’s great for all occasions, all weather and is available for private hire as well.

Smashing location, serving great tapas. Try the Kings Tapas, it's 11 dishes served up by the chef. 2 ales on draft and an excellent pint of Stowford Press too. Staff are also friendly and efficient.

As with all our previous visits, we experienced a warm welcome, delicious food, and attentive friendly service. There are some fabulous additions to the new menu and the goats cheese crouton is yummy. Oh, and there are over 50 gin varieties to choose from :-)

A warm welcome, food which was plentiful and delicious and reasonable prices, a recipe for success. We’re looking forward to returning when we can sit outside on the terrace.

The food was amazing, the service was impeccable and the views were beautiful. Was so full after the taster menu but still took a dessert home as they all sounded amazing. Highly recommended,

From start to finish this place was, so good. We were welcomed by staff not rushed to order...everything was explained to us all about the tapas menu. All cooked fresh and piping hot when served to table. Then after there was a band on which finished off the night so well. Definitely going back and can't wait..think I will becoming a regular here.

Ok! Not blown away. The food was avarage not great value for money, staff were lovely and helpful! Wouldn’t rush back but worth a try.

Cheery, pleasant service and good food. Great river views across the road. Limited street parking so tricky to get to if one of your party has difficulty walking.

Took my elderly parents for mothers day. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were very happy despite none of us ever having tried Tapas before.

Lovely little place great food and service. The cocktails options where brilliant cant wait to visit again in warmer weather. A must visit for anyone.

I have been to the Boathouse for tapas with friends or family about half a dozen times. I have eaten well every time. I have a granddaughter, who is vegetarian. Plenty of choice for her too.

The food and service was great and the restaurant upstairs is much nicer than expected. There's a huge selection of gins and cocktails. The only complaint was that it was a little overpriced. Not good value for money.

Our first visit and not disappointed very friendly and helpful staff - the menu was well explained and if you love tapas you will love the selection offered. The food was well presented and great flavours. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

The Boathouse is in a lovely setting, im sure it is lovely in the summer, however as it is February sat inside !Very tasty tapas...good choice and the staff were friendly , however i found drinks were expensive.

A really lovely place. We thoroughly enjoyed the valentine's tapas menu. Good service and the live acoustic music was enjoyable. Will be back soon 😊

Food is good with a wide selection. Freshly prepared means it’s all hot. We had good, cheerful and attentive service. The surroundings are clean with rustic decor although the old school chairs would benefit from cushions. It is well worth a visit. We will be going back!

Lovely food and good service - always enjoy eating here. There is not a lot more to say really, would recommend to friends and look forward to going again.

The service and food was amazing as usual! Can not recommend this place highly enough. Staff were brilliant with out 2 tiny guests too. Perfect for any occasion.

Fantastic food and cocktails. Brilliant service from friendly, knowledgable staff. Only tiny negative was the "very merry" people from upstairs party who seemed to noisily invade downstairs late in the evening.

Excellent value, excellent service and very good food, with plenty of variety. Just be careful if it is wet outside as I found it a but slippy inside.

Lunch was Lovely food and very good service. We couldn't go upstairs which was disappointing as that's where the lovely views of the Severn are, as there was to be a corporate event upstairs. However we never saw them and we left at 2.15 so it would have been ok for us to sit upstairs.

Tasteful decor, nice atmosphere, lovely attentive staff and very nice Tapas. Only criticism is not enough sauce... Potatas Bravas needs lots more Bravas, Halloumi needs something like sweet chilli to accompany, chorizo screams for 'al vino'. If you sort that out, Boathouse, you're on to a winner.

The food was very good and the service was excellent. I really like the place and look forward to visiting in the light so I can enjoy the view. Also look forward to trying other dishes on the menu - I'm vegetarian and my partner isn't so it will be nice to come with fellow vegetarians so we can share everything. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the very loud people drinking cocktails on the table next to us. They were so loud it was hard to hear each other (just two of us!) Obviously not the restaurants fault, but maybe someone could have had a word as they were disturbing a lot of people.

Excellent tapas and delicious puddings served by very attentive staff in beautiful surroundings overlooking the River Severn. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

Excellent; friendly and efficient service, and the food was very good. It was a sunny day, we sat on the upstairs balcony overlooking the river. Perfect!

Food excellent, lovely flavour and textures. Sadly the music was far too loud and we left early as we couldn't hear our selves speak over it

Lovely food at a lovely setting.Went for the 11 kings option , really good way of trying for the first timer. Next time may choose more fish dishes.

Had the 11 dish tapas menu to experience the Mediterranean cuisine but was surprised how chilli hot a lot of the dished were. The chilli masked the taste of some of the dishes. Service was excellent, ambiance was excellent. Reasonable value for money. Would go back but choose particular tapas dishes the next time.
