Steeped in history, The Bold Hotel in the centre of Southport was originally constructed in 1832 by Thomas Mawdsley, and built in late Georgian style. Following a recent £2 million refurbishment, The Bold Hotel on Lord Street, is shinier than ever and their bar and grill is still serving up some of the tastiest international and Mediterranean food in all of Southport centre, and further afield. If you enjoy a tipple as much as the next person, you’ll be pleased to discover that The Bold Hotel has an extensive wine cellar, as well as a wide range of craft beers, guest ales and cocktails. The diverse international food menu features everything from Tex-Mex nachos with spicy chilli beef to stonebaked pizzas, and from Turkish moussaka to British pub classics like steak and kidney pie.
