Very nice restaurant within the pub, nice light (glass roof) and decorations. Food was great, staff very friendly, music not too loud so you could have a conversation with people at the table without shouting. We will come back for sure

Attentive staff good environment and great food would go again

There were 8 of us - including some who had been away for the weekend - and come back early to have a birthday lunch for one of us - I have been several times before and always the staff have been charming and efficient , the food delicious - so a very enjoyable experience!

We met a friend in the bar area which was lively and entertaining but the dining area was somewhat basic and lacked the atmosphere of the bar. The food was fine however

I’ve been to the Bolingbrook many times last night definitely wasn’t the best. Service was patchy and two of us were disappointed with our food – we both had the scallops which looked extremely unappealing, had clearly been sliced to make them go further and were cold.

No problem as everything was perfect & service was very good!

All enjoyed the food and it was delivered promptly. I think the staff could be a bit more eager to take orders but all in all. Very happy.

Lovely local venue. Whilst one of the staff members were lovely they were very slow to take our order and missed out on the lamb special. We both ordered our meals with fries but one had nice big fries and the other little scraps so disappointing. The music in the background kept coming off and on which was annoying as not busy at all.

Service here was poor. Didn't really talk just looked at us and waited. When taking payment the lady just brought the card and when it paid - she just walked away - no thank you or no nothing. Starters were nice but mains were Very dry and poor.

Great welcome and lovely setting for dinner. Plenty of choices and the quality of the meal was excellent. Delivery of dinner was not long after ordering and came to the table piping hot. A massive thank you to the Manager Daniel for his kindness and attention and his great humour. A great pub with a great atmosphere and professional team.

We managed to secure a booth area for our lunch which was perfect with a little dog accompanying us. The staff were delightful and looked after not only us but also our fur ball. We didnt realise how long we were eating as it was such a pleasurable experience. Just perfect!

Food, service and ambience were excellent. The only negative aspect was the twelve and a half % service charge.

Tender steak, lovely wine and pleasant service! The atmosphere was warm and relaxed.

We made use of a £50 voucher we had and ordered several of their bar food options, which were all decent sizes. We came away feeling happy and very full.

Excellent food and service. A little noisy at times, but a good atmosphere.

We enjoyed the food however, we're put at ease at all. Requested cooked carrots for our son as opposed to raw carrots (he has 6 teeth..), we were made to feel quite awkward for the simple request and when they were delivered were told 'this is only for today, you can't ask for this again', it could have all been handled with much more charm. I did pay for the carrots, we didn't ask for them for free :)

The reception was a bit average with not much charm from the manager or waitress - we joked that we were annoying him by being there. The pub was also quite cold (they did close the windows after a while) and the food was ok but not super impressive. We have had better experiences there before. Thanks
