Enjoyed our visit to the Braided Fig for lunch. The service was excellent, attentive, very friendly and relaxed. Food was good and a great selection.

This was quite simply one of the best meals and service I have ever had in Aberdeen and I eat out a lot. Food was faultless. Can’t wait to go back.

Cant fault the staff, they were wonderful, atmosphere just right. On the whole our food was very good, I had fillet steak with tailbone stovies, but the sauce and stovies had been over salted. It could be a personal taste but there was two of us who had the dish and we both said the same.

First time at this restaurant. Food was delicious and good value for money. Did overhear another table comment on how small the lemon sole was and it was £20! Service was quite slow, but we were enjoying each others company so we didn’t mind too much. Would have been nice to have the lights dimmed and some music playing. It was very bright and full of chatter. 10% service charge is added to the bill which didn’t bother me but had the service been slower I might not have been happy.

One of the best restaurants we have been to having just circumnavigated Scotland. Absolutely outstanding

Very cold and despite asking for heater, which was there, staff did not help. Staff pleasant to start with but clueless. Our visit went into evening and service went downhill. Head waitress very focussed on evening bookings and was inflexible to accommodate existing customers...became quite rude towards us. Shame really as food and cocktails was lovely. Their lack of skills of hospitality did add to our experience in terms of so bad it was comical entertainment!!

The food was excellent, can recommend the mac and cheese with chorizo! Staff and service were great. Only tiny complaint would be that the dining room was pretty cold as not many folk in at this time. The staff did turn up the radiator though which did help! We'll definitely be back.

Fab hotel standard food, lovely presentation and worth the visit. Even better tried to leave a tip and was told it’s okay already included in the billing. Can’t fault it, lovely dining and excellent service.

Slow service, mediocre food and a sly service charge that was not deserved.

Excellent Mother's Day treat. Lovely table by the window. Friendly staff. Not all mains came at the same time so the rest of us had to wait which was a shame.

Fish on a bed of pickled onions ! Hmmm, quite weird & not at all filling. No potatoes or rice - not even a bread basket . Not value for money .

Sunday roast was not anything special, selection between chicken and beef only. Beef was very fatty, chicken was ok, but was most likely boiled chicken breast slightly browned up in oven, served as one piece and not sliced. Potatoes were not roast crispy potatoes either, they were boiled and deep fried. Wouldn’t recommend for Sunday roast.

Really pleasant visit here, cannot fault food we really enjoyed ourselves.

We enjoyed a lovely meal at The Braided Fig and would definitely recommend going. There is a wide range of food and drink which would suit most people’s tastes and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

It was our first eating experience at The Braided Fig and we weren’t disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive and the menu really inspiring. In fact it was tricky to only choose one starter, main and dessert each! We will definitely be back!

Lovely restaurant, the tree in the centre is so unique! Great atmosphere, food was fantastic and the service was excellent! Had a great Valentine’s Day meal with a full menu unlike a lot of places who put on reduced menus. Will be back

The food was Really nice - funny smell as i entered the restaurant like school dinner hall small thing but quite off putting. I ordered the Sunday lunch pork was amazing and the veg was perfect. Keep up the good work and make the place smell like your food.

Excellent food and service. My wife is still talking about how amazing the beef olives were. We will definitely be going back. Was the highlight of our night.

A very nice friendly welcome and was very accommodating about two of our party being late. Told about the specials and had a very nice lunch. Staff very helpful.
