So lucky to have the Brook as our local, always good food and good service, maybe the menu could be changed more frequently?

The meal was excellent The staff were very attentive and helpful.

A wonderful place to eat. On the whole the food was excellent but I was a bit disappointed with the sauce on my lamb cutlets, I didn’t complain but I did inform our waitress who in turn let the chef know and then came back to me with the chefs comments. The place has a great atmosphere and the service was excellent.

We had a dinner party of six people. We all had excellent food and service. The only thing I would change would be to soften the music a bit. Other than that, would recommend to others and hopefully we will be back again for another visit.

Visited with friends, and really enjoyed the food, friends, and atmosphere. Three times cooked chips not enjoyed, quote “too crispy and fatty”. Pudding, apple and cinnamon crumble, faultless, superb. Have visited quite often over the years and the Brook, is still top of our local list.

Excellent food and service, love the new menu, especially the Specials as this means we can visit more often as there’s more choice to try something different.

We always enjoy The Brook, the menu offers a great choice, the presentation of the food is impressive, the staff are the right balance of friendly, approachable and responsive . I think The Brook is significantly better than anywhere else in the area, it will always be my first choice for a special occasion.

We have been several times to this restaurant and love it. We actually went on Saturday and Sunday last weekend - I think that says it all.

Service was good. There was nothing on the menu that jumped out at me so I ordered the pork cutlet. Everything on the dish was lovely except for the pork which was too tough to eat. I had it with cornish potatoes which were lovely. The white wine was overpriced for the quality. There was nothing on the dessert menu to tempt us. This was not our first visit, but I'd definitely check the menu before I booked again.

Great deal for 2 steaks and a bottle of Shiraz. Great stuff service.
