The Brook Inn

Food is gorgeous. The only thing that marked it down for us was the waiting times, half an hour to take our order and when we asked for the bill it didn’t materialise, after 20 minutes without being able to attract attention we went up the bar to pay. But other than that I’d recommend The Brook for a Sunday roast.

Price on internet for roast dinner was £11-when we arrived between £14/15 a big difference -need to update internet-although dinner very nice . Once seated waited a while for order to be taken .Good Sunday roast dinner .

Don’t like people smoking directly outside the restaurant doors. Not good for nonsmokers, especially with chest complaints. Spoils the overall dining experience.

Been here a few times and loved it but last friday was terrible service and food was over cooked and tough and couldn't eat. It got knocked off our bill in the end. With great difficulty. Needs to improve massively before I return again.

Gin and tonic served in thick tumblers, no garnish. Long wait to be served drinks and food. Menu reduced considerably and not of same standard as in the past. Disappointed.

Steaks now a lot thinner than they used to be. Still tasty, great staff and great wine.

Our service was good but didn’t seem to be anyone in charge. Been lots of times before but this time found it all a bit relaxed. People paying at the bar and ordering food at the bar. It’s always been table service when we’ve been there so we’re a little confused to whether this has changed? Food was fantastic as always.

We enjoyed a lovely walk from Webheath to The Brook had a great meal, great service and a lovely walk back through beautiful countryside.
