Lovely meal with fresh cooked veg and generous portions. Friendly staff. However we were sat next to a large, noisy party with a barking dog & it was difficult to hear ourselves speak. No complaints about the food or staff tho.

We visited for lunch, menu is good with a good variety of dishes offered, food was really good, service was friendly and we were served giving us a comfortable period to settle and decide what we wanted. Good selection of beer and drinks available. Brilliant, I would definitely return.

We very much enjoyed our late lunch today. The food was well cooked, served and was hot, where appropriate.

Very friendly atmosphere. Roast dinner and pudding were very tastey and large portions. The pub has a carpark and is also dog friendly.

Very quaint little pub with indoor and outdoor seating. Wide selection on the menu as well.

Table was not ready on arrival due to people being slow at table. However staff did every thing could to make us feel welcome while we waited. Food was outstanding and was a very reasonable price. Will def return.

A friendly welcome as well as opportunities to briefly chat with staff who were smashing. Service was good. There was a good choice of food and drink. We enjoyed all that we ate and it had a nice home-cooked feel about it. The surroundings are pleasant. It is highly likely we shall return for a second helping.

Excellent experience, only negative was the terrible parking in the small car park. This was caused by the lack of courtesy from your other customers with appalling parking. two cars parked so badly that three could easily of parked in the same space. The staff where a credit to the company, as service with a smile was excellent in every way and food was hot and first class. Thankyou Michael Ballard

Our first time in the Catherine Wheel - and it won't be our last! The food and service were both excellent and the bar area had a wonderful atmosphere - a real haven from the crowds of tourists outside.

Booked at table for 5 people and a dog. We arrived early and the staff were welcoming and friendly .It was no trouble and they promptly sorted a table for us . We ordered a variety of meals and enjoyed the lot. Service was accurate, prompt and friendly. Excellent experience and we would definitely visit again . They even let me leave my car on their car park whilst we explored the beauty of Bilbury. Thankyou Darren and family 🥳🥰

Very mediocre food, quite bland to taste and expensive. Tried to get away with giving me a roast dinner without roast potatoes by spreading the vegetables around the plate.. Won’t be going back.
