The Coal Shed in Brighton champions fresh, local produce, cooked over coal to perfection and served with pride. Their menu features everything from freshly caught sea bream seasoned with fennel, mint, and lime, to a dry-aged black angus steak burger, topped with bourbon relish, lettuce and pickles. If you’re looking for something less meaty, the Coal Shed offers some great vegetarian options, too, including wood-roasted artichokes with beets, goat cheese and a thyme mousse. You will find The Coal Shed on Boyce's Street in The Lanes where it’s definitely wise to arrive having made a reservation in advance. Brighton goes mad for this one!

Stopped by here for a quick £10 lunch. Great service and food.
Lovely little restaurant. Steaks are wonderful as a treat as we generally do not eat meat.
