Enjoyed food, lovely positive vibe and decoration. Felt like we were in another country. We went for my dads birthday, he has terminal cancer so it was nice for him to enjoy and feel happy. One of the owners spoke to him and had a great vibe. The waitress was very friendly and informative too and provided recommendations. We enjoyed everything especially the hopper, the pumpkin curry, mushrooms and cashewnuts. Thank you for making our day

The food was amazing, and staff were just lovely. They accommodated to all our needs and the artwork on the walls is really cool. It was a little loud but I think it’s just the layout of the building.

The food and service were both excellent... having been to Sri Lanka earlier in the year, we were craving the tastes and flavours of the island. The food did not disappoint, it was ultra delicious!! The vibe at the front of the restaurant was pretty flat and the music too loud - it seemed like the place to be was in the back! I'm sure when the front is full, the atmosphere is better :)

A brilliant experience. We loved all of the dishes we chose which was a combination of meat, fish and veg, incredible flavours, textures with just the right amount of spice. Very good portion sizes too and great value. Staff were all friendly and attentive. The reggie music gave it a great atmosphere too. It was very busy when we were there and the noise from the guests reverberated around the room but we soon became used to it. Will definitely be returning

Not great, it’s trying to be a bar rather than a restaurant. Loud reggae music in the front section with high tables not conducive to restaurant dining and a sunken characterless dining room in the rear. Food was disappointing, small(ish) plates, overpriced with not a lot of choice. Didn’t really think this was an authentic Sri Lankan dining experience. A pity but will not be coming back.

We loved the food (great quantity, fair value) and the aesthetic of the restaurant, however the service was quite appalling from our waiter and the music was too loud for us to hear each other at a small table for four. I want to highlight that other members of the team were working hard to cover for their complacent teammate and were visibly stressed. We had to call over for their attention several times and spent most of the evening waiting to order, for drinks and food to arrive, for the table to be cleaned (including piles of cinnamon powder leftover from the table-side fire drinks display), and to pay our bill. The restaurant has a few teething problems to work on, and I’d love to return once it has found its rhythm, but it’s not quite there yet sadly.

Was surprised at how big place is, as there is a bit out back with more seating. Good guidance from staff on how much to order. Loved the black belly pork and prawns. Would go back again Only downside was we ordered a certain wine but they gave us a different one without telling us. So I queried and they said they didn’t have the wine we ordered, and apologised for not telling us and just giving us another wine.
