Good selection of starters. Wait at bar to be served was longer than had hoped - only 1 staff member serving. Noise from other tables was extremely loud and spoiled our desire for a quiet meal.

All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. A great night celebrating my parents 65th anniversary in a pub that they knew and trusted.

Nice food. Bit disappointed though, as had run out of our 1st choice of Rump Steak and 2nd choice of Fish and Chips early on a Friday evening.

Pretty decent food at a reasonable price in good surroundings. Service was a little slow and it wasn’t busy but we weren’t in a rush so no problem on this occasion.

Again lovely food and nice staff, the beer choice helps as well. If you are in the Bridgwater area give it a try.

Typical microwave food. Had the lamb shank, the bubble and squeak was made with packet mash, and was cold, dry and crumbly in the middle. Watery frozen cauliflower and rock hard cold broccoli.

Initially I was not impressed when we booked a table for 7 and was told we had to order at the bar. After pointing out when we drank there at the weekend it was table service. Apparently they were short staffed but the waitress wasn't doing anything. I borrowed a pen and started to write our choices but the waitress then came and took the order. Otherwise staff were friendly apart from the manager and the food was fine. I would like to suggest childrens food should come.out first and not on a warm plate.
