Lovely as allways only complaint was waitress very slow at coming to get drinks order so we went to bar not a problem for us but some people may have difficulty going bar

Hi, this was our first visit to your establishment, we decided against going to The Soho Tavern, based on a recommendation. On arrival we were professionally greeted and showed to our table and when we asked if we could be moved to a different table, this request was met without any problems. We ordered and the food arrived surprisingly quickly, to say you were fairly busy with the England game been shown. The portions were a good size, too much in fact for the two of us. We had the medium grill, plus fish pakoras and masala chips. Unfortunately, we had to complain about one of the lamb chops, one, it did not resemble one in shape and secondly it was tough and we found more than half of the chips were inedible, they were hard. The lamb chop was quickly replaced with two and some salad (which made us think, should we have got salad to begin with). And we were not charged for the chips, we decided not to have these replaced. The waitress looking after us did an excellent job and although our concerns were addressed without fuss, it would have been a nice touch for the chef or manager to have come to us and acknowledge our dissatisfaction and apologise. We found the food to be lacking in flavour. Aside from this the atmosphere and venue was nice. We’re big believers in giving people a second chance and so hope to visit your venue again next time we’re in the Midlands and hopefully have a better experience (not by much). Thanks

Our waiter was exceptional; he was very attentive in a very busy restaurant whilst managing to appear calm and genial. Our food was excellent. Where we were sitting the decor is in need of a little improvement. Perhaps a designated storage space for stacked highchairs and table cleaning equipment. However our dining experience was extremely good.

there was 11 of us booking was easy online our first time at the wagon heard great things so thought give a try staff very friendly & helpful nice decor very clean all the food came together 11 of us ordered the menu no waiting fantastic food was amazing such great prices not extortionate definitely will returning helpful tip it gets very very busy understandable because it’s such a great place to eat book online & arrrive early car park big but soon gets full overall worth a visit

Food came out very quick, staff was very nice, I ordered the wagon special curry not what I would normally order but wanted to try it and was not impressed, just tasted like pepper, the chilli paneer was ok but very very sweet, my Granddaughter loved her children's curry which come with chips, rice and salad

THIS WAS FIRST TIME VISTING COVERED WAGON AND NOT THE LAST THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND PLENTY OF IT WITH THE BIG PORTION SIZES THE WAGON SPECIAL SIZZLER WAS HUGE AND THE BUTTER CHICKEN UNBELIEVABLE I WAS NOT TO KEEN ON MOGO CHIPS BUT STILL THE TABLE OF 4 PEOPLE STILL EAT THEM NOW THE SIZZLING PRAWNS ON THE OTHER HAND WERE TO DIE FOR PLUS WE ORDERED GARLIC NAAN CHEESE NAAN MOM HAD LAMB KORMA MUSHROOM FRIED RICE GARLIC NAAN AND YOGHURT PLUS WE ORDERED BUTTER CHICKEN LOADED CHIPS AND A BALTI SAUCE AND 3 DRINKS EACH THE TABLE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING COULDN'T DO ENOUGH FOR US WE MANAGE TO EAT FOOD AND TOOK BALTI SAUCE AND LOADED CHIPS AWAY IN DOGGY BAG THE PRICE FOR ALL OF THIS WAS £117 FOR 4 PEOPLE FOOD AND DRINKS NOT TO BE MOANED AT WORTH EVERY PENNY THANKS GUYS AT COVERED WAGON IT WAS MY 50TH BIRTHDAY AND I WILL NOT FORGET HOW I ENJOYED THE NIGHT SO MUCH

Always good food and service. Very generous portions . Definatly worth a visit. Only criticism was we were sat by two large TV screens . Don't particularly like TV on when having a meal.
