Party of 5 Very welcoming, good efficient service, good selection of beer, excellent hot food. A bit noisy a times. Will recommend to others and visit again.

Food seemed fresh and well prepared. Little bit disappointed with the naans as they were a bit soft and slightly undercooked but the platter and curries were great. We had Table 1 and the young lady serving us was very pleasant (always smiling!).

Place was freezing cold. No cooking smells. Food delivered in less than. 10 minds. Absolutely tasteless. Will not be returning. It was like a fast food place.

Food was exceptional and good value for money. The service is very poor, from the order not going through to the excessive wait for food to be brought to the table. The waiting staffs reason for a busy kitchen did nothing to enhance the situation as people who arrived 45 minutes after us were served first

On arrival we were greeted by the manager we were then shown to our table, we mentioned to the staff how cold it was inside the restaurant and she commented the heaters are on(small portable heaters situated around the place). We placed our order the food arrived and as per usual the food was excellent very good portion sizes and very filling and very reasonable priced.

Busy place.....excellent service. Food came out quick and tasted great. The waiter kindly repacked the remaining food in boxes to take home. Great work guys and will visit again 👍

I found the food lacking flavour plus the staff wasn’t the best brought containers to the table and had to put my own food in containers to take home

Our first visit to this restaurant was a good experience and will be back. The staff were welcoming and the food was superb. The restaurant was busy and a little noisy as there were large groups dinning and TV’s. The staff did check if we wanted the TV volume turned down / off. Large carpork, good service and great food. Would recommend.

Lovely lunch. We had the lunchtime wraps which were delicious and good value.

Firstly I booked for my mother's 65th birthday, we were given three separate tables not sat together but close. On request we were moved so the table was available just not offered. I was told the place was halal and it was not, however the food was great so will bypass this. What was disappointing was they kept repeating they need the table needed back by 6pm we had not even sat down!! Felt very rushed at a point where we felt constant pressure to hurry and waitresses and waiters were at our table very 10 minutes to ask if we had finished. no offer for dessert or anything special for my mother. Very disappointed!!

When we arrived it was so busy we were concerned, but we were seated immediately, the waitress was amazing, she communicated the whole time and was very friendly, she checked on us throughout, asking when we were ready for different courses, asking if we needed anything else. She was the best waitress we have had in a very long time. The food was excellent and hot, very good choice and portion size, the chefs should be complimented on their food. This was our first visit and we will definitely be visiting again, even how busy it was all the staff appeared very calm and pleasant.

It is the first time we have visited the Painted Wagon, it was a birthday celebration and a perfect place to celebrate. The service and food was fantastic! We bought a birthday cake to celebrate and the staff ensured the cake was a surprise and brought it out to the table after our meal.

We loved the ambience of the restaurant, music wasn't too loud. Staff were excellent, very friendly, attentive and accommodated our different menu requests. We all enjoyed our meals and thought the cost was very reasonable. Meals arrived quickly. A couple of people in our party would have preferred the food to be hotter (temperature not spice), and our table was very full when all food and drinks arrived, so we would ask for a bigger table next time.

Arrived to the nicest of welcomes by a young lady our booking was monday at 1600pm the server couldnt do enough made the lovliest of coffee she recommended food to us, she deserves a pay rise We will definately be back

Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food was brought out way quicker than expected after the order was taken which was great. Only down side was when we got there they said they couldn’t find our booking that we made through Quandoo, However the restaurant did accommodate us and didn’t turn us away.

The service was really good, I never felt hassled but they were attentive. The food was really nice and tasty, it arrived hot. When I asked for the bill they came over straight away so no waiting.

TV volume was a bit loud and we were sat right underneath it but staff turned it down once we asked. Staff were friendly and food was good.

Visit was spoilt with how cold it was inside moved table once but no better no heating took a long time between starter and main to come food we cold quickly, to many onions in one of our currys.

Food was excellent. Visited on New Years Eve so it was very busy. I guess this is why the service was a bit hectic with tables arriving after us being asked for drinks etc

They don't do Chicken Dansak or King Prawn Bhuna which is what we usually order. We hadn't finished the pickle tray & poppadoms when they brought the mains out & the worst sacrilege was NO HOT PLATES for our meals or a fresh cloth to wipe our hands afterwards

The food was very good. We all ate far too much!. Not the cheapest of places. Especially the cobra which is £5.90 a pint!
