Service was great and food was lovely would visit again

Staff were lovely food was good but it didn’t all come together?? Had all our mains and sides but had to wait 5 minutes for the rice??

Food was amazing staff was really quick and very polite would most definitely go the place again thank you so much for making my birthday a good one thank again

Table booked for 5:30pm. Had popadoms for a starter. Mains came out very quickly so not enough time to finish them. Having said that lovely food and great service.

Really nice food, thought the Sizzler could have done with a pinch of salt. The meats were succulent, especially the wings. Lamb & Chicken RaRa was brilliant - just the right heat. Not sure about the Chicken Tikka Masala, it was a bit sweet and nutty ? Garlic Naan bread was superb. The service was absolutely brilliant. Friendly, attentive and professional.

A great venue for a catch up with friends. Good food, good service and a good price. Everyone in my party of 6 commented on the quality of their experience at the venue and subsequently all contacted me later that evening reaffirming their pleasure.

My curry was far too spicy. I have eaten there once before and I am sure they checked how spicy you wanted it . For me , it was inedible as far too spicy. The waiting staff however are excellent.

Booking was easy, although we turned up early a table was made ready for us. And we were sat quickly. Only issue we had was starters and main course all arrived at the same time. Did not want to send mains back to sit under heat lamps, left us feeling slightly rushed. However food was good. In and out within 45 mins even though the booking states you have table for 2hrs. Will go again but will stipulate a gap between courses.

Sizzler cold and not sizzling. Told waiter, he just shrugged his shoulders! Masala chips were cold and hard! Waiters were absolutely useless! Service is terrible, will not be going back or recommending to anyone! Extremely disappointed.

Whilst the food was nice (but not amazing), the service was lacking. We waited to order drinks after arrival. Our server was sparse. Our mains came before starters had been finished. I would not recommend and wouldn’t return.

Made a few visits to the Coventry Covered Wagon after having previously used the Birmingham restaurant. Great food served quickly but need to book a reservation as a very popular place to eat at. Gets my recommendation

The food was of the highest quality and standard and we really enjoyed this so thank you. We were somewhat disappointed with the continued reminders that the table booking was only for 2 hours. This meant that the starters, mains and final drinks were rushed.

Fantastic meal, food was awesome with rapidly quick service. The staff were very attentive. One thing that would make the experience top notch would be to warm the eating plates as I prefer this and it should be a standard thing.

Overall good service was good. Just felt it was rushed . Starters came out fine, then mains were out 5 min after . Need to be timed so enjoy food not rushed.

We booked for 8pm and was seated for 8pm, good start. Service was top notch and staff very attentive. The food was excellent and the price very reasonable Would definitely pay another visit and recommend it to others.

We didnt have the most welcoming experience, was greeted nicely from one person then another took over without saying hello to us and was so rude also saw how she treated the rest of the staff. Her name was Ellie. Other than that the food was amazing

Was looking forward to going here but won’t go again food wasn’t terrible but also wasn’t great good size portions. However service was really not good ordered poppadoms for starters they came and within 2 mins the mains were on the table. I was missing a knife which I never got given after being told someone would get one upon arrival. Area we were put was freezing had to leave my coat on. Overall not the best experience won’t be going back.

Unfortunately not good for us...the naan bread smelled of damp teatowels which put us off what could've been a lovely meal.

First time and it was lovely. Food was very nice. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. The place itself was very nice. Would have been nice to have music in the background but that is not a criticism. We will be returning

It was good food and good portion sizes but we felt for a sit down meal there was some presentation lacking and the plates on the table were not clean but it was good

We were sat by the door and it was freezing. They plugged in a heater and put this next to the table but didn’t do a lot. We ordered and it took ages to bring the food out. Then my sons korma wasnt even hot and this was replaced and then a few minutes later my partners main was brought out separately. Service wasn’t great. Food tasted okay but I was expecting this to be a better experience especially on valentines when the restaurant would have known they would be busy

We dined at The Covered Wagon for Valentine’s Day, with our table booked for 6pm. To start, we really enjoyed the food. The chilli paneer was delicious and full of flavour, and the kebabs were excellent. For mains, my partner had the lamb keema which was very good. However, I ordered the desi chicken curry and unfortunately it was disappointing. The sauce was bland and an unusual colour — nothing like any desi chicken curry I’ve had at other restaurants. It just wasn’t enjoyable. Overall, the food was mixed — some dishes were very good, but mine let the meal down. What really affected our evening was the hospitality. We felt rushed throughout the meal, as though the focus was on turning tables quickly rather than letting customers enjoy their time — especially on Valentine’s Day. We overheard a waiter named Taz telling a younger waiter to ask us whether we wanted anything else or the bill. We had planned to stay for a few drinks and relax, but instead felt pressured to finish up and leave. When we spoke to the manager before leaving, he apologised but explained that they aim to have customers out within two hours regardless of party size. It felt like the priority was maximising turnover rather than providing a relaxed and welcoming experience. It’s a shame, as some of the food was very good, but the rushed atmosphere and lack of hospitality meant we didn’t feel valued as customers — and we won’t be returning.

Our waitress who I think was called Maisie was so nice! Her customer service was amazing and was a pleasure to have serve us. All round great 1st time experience and will most definitely be back again! Thank you for a lovely evening and amazing food!

Ambiance was good. Food tastes really nice. The portion was just right. Service was good as well. We are very happy with everything. 🙂
