Really good Sunday dinner (we had lamb and beef roasts) and nice to have a kids' play area.

Really good food, friendly staff, and a nice place. Slightly bad timing for us to go as it was packed with people before a Bristol Rovers game so drink service was a bit slower than usual but we still had a lovely lunch which didn't take long at all. Six happy customers. We will be back again to try the rest of the menu! Highly recommend the chicken burger.

We had a roast Sunday lunch. Food was not as hot as it should be, but not enough to complain. There was a frugal amount of vegetables, we had to ask for more for the one vegetarian plate on the table as it looked rather bare (the nut roast is available but not mentioned on the menu!), then realised the Yorkshire pudding was also missing. The extra veg were charged on the bill which seemed very petty. The couple next to us waited patiently when only one starter was brought and they'd ordered two. Their roast main course took nearly an hour to arrive. Sunday lunch here used to be really good, not sure what's happened but we won't be back.

Staff were really friendly and food was good. Only thing to make it better would have been more choice for a vegetarian roast dinner.

Had an extremely long wait for food, Appreciate it was a match day but nearly 45mins for 3 burgers was excessive! The price of the meals was also expensive for the quality of food

The food was ok, nothing amazing. We’ve had worse, but we’ve definitely had better. The service was pretty average- we kept having to go to the bar to order drinks (even though the restaurant was pretty empty) which was tricky with 4 small children between us. We asked for water for the table and condiments, which were both forgotten, costing us another trip up to the bar during our meal. It was ironic that there was a 10% service charge automatically added onto our bill, as they really did nothing to deserve that! The play area in the pub is good and it’s an easy pub that works well for a weekend meet up. With a little extra attention from the staff, and maybe abit more finesse to the food, I think they would be there.

We went for a late lunch. Great food and a good selection of lagers and ciders. Would recommend the beetroot wellington. Also, only place in this side of Vristol I have seen serving Asahi and Old Mout on tap.

The crafty cow are always lovely and serve amazing food at good prices and they do NHS discount. They accommodated our fairly large party (10+ people) and gave us the table we asked for. Couldn't ask for better service and we will definitely be back

Great welcoming and service given, food was not great deffently not the correct value for the money you pay for also very cheeky not asking customers for a tip just assume and put it on the bill with out making customers aware. Other than that Great service and great place but needs to improve on prices and quality of food.

We came for Sunday lunch at the Crafty Cow which we chose due to its play area. On this occasion we were slightly disappointed with the food in comparison with other occasions. The children’s macaroni cheese had nutmeg in the sauce which my fussy 3 year old found straight away and the sauce and pasta weren’t mixed which gave the sauce an unusual texture and wasn’t anything like as nice as previous occasions. The summer salad wasn’t as described on the menu, the buttered kale was missing, the potatoes weren’t roasted and it wasn’t a 1/2 roasted chicken. Others said that the food wasn’t very warm but that the meat was nice.

The food tasted great but potatoes and vegetables were very hard and lamb a little fatty. Staff were brilliant, attentive and friendly. The garden was gorgeous in the sunshine. Inside looked lovely but the play area was a bit sad and customers seated near it loud and sweary, acting like it was their area and giving their kids packets of sweets to take in the play area which they then left the rubbish in afterwards. Has put me off going there but would happily sit in the garden and eat/drink on a sunny day.
