Took my in laws for Sunday lunch. We cannot praise the staff enough. Amazing food and service. My mother and father in law absolutely loved it and my husband and myself are booked to come back next month for our first wedding anniversary

We have visited the Restaurant before. We booked it as a surprise for my Son and Daughter-in-law for their Anniversary. They had a wonderful time. The staff as always were on top form and the food beautifully presented and tasty. Nothing is too much trouble; always made to feel special. The set menu is extremely good value for money. A must for a celebratory dinner or even a mid-week treat.

Unsure of where to go for my 30th, we looked at the menus for Cranleigh and decided to give it a go. The BEST decision. What a nice, quiet, relaxed, clean, well presented space. And that was just our first impression of the dining room. The waiting staff are lovely, nicely dressed, helpful and this is (as I’d call it) a slightly fancier place to dine, but in no way do they make you feel lesser as some upmarket places do. Their service, care and attention is impeccable. Now the food...I wish I could have had more. We had set menu which is so fairly priced and full of fantastic choice as is the a la carte. Starter was tasty, piping hot and 100% freshly made, the chicken was in no way dry and the tandoori flavour was amazing. The main...just wow. For starters you’re brought out a hot plate, then up the waiting staff who present you with a perfectly cooked delicious lamb shank, then pile on vegetables and potatoes. I say pile on, what I’m saying here is that the portion size for a set menu is both generous and ample. You’re well fed, not underfed and it certainly is no minuscule serving by any means. When the meat falls off the bone and melts, you know it’s been well cooked. Desert...I’ll be honest, I saw desert cart and didn’t think for a second that it would be an actual cart. It is. One of the lovely waiters pushes out a full cart of sweet sweet deserts that leave you 1000% spoiled for choice. They do not disappoint...nothing did. For a wildcard pick, we are so glad we took the chance on something that isn’t a chain, if you like. We had a wonderful night, the lighting, music and atmosphere aid to making this one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I will be going back, we will be going back and telling everyone I know that they just have to go here. Cranleigh, be proud of everything you do serve and the service you give. ❤️
