Excellent food, excellent service considering the restaurant was full even at 5:15 on a Sunday.

Great refurb, good atmosphere, excellent food. Service a little Poor but early days and teething problems. Staff really nice - just not enough of them!

Great food, a decent selection of wines, beers and spirits and wonderful atmosphere in the newly refurbished space make this a great choice for a local lunch - It remains undiscovered and calm, at least when I visited. Sole blemish: n weekday lunchtimes, the average age of customers remains firmly over 60.

Love this place. I used to go many years ago but now they have amazing food, great atmosphere and the staff are very attentive. Never fails to disappoint.

Food is nice, pretty pricey. Service is poor and wait staff are rude. Had to ask 3-4 times to get our bread and coffees, on a not so busy evening. When the bill arrived (£374.00 for 4, with in-expensive wine) seemed a bit much for a pub. As we looked the bill over my friend mentioned to the waiter that it was difficult to read. He responded by saying, "We do that on purpose so we can confuse and over charge you." His comment was very snarky and unnecessary. Shame really as we've gone back 3 times having been promised the "bugs" were worked out. The food is nice, but arrogant staff has yet to be improved upon.

Good food and friendly staff. A little on the expensive side. Portions did not look big, but we all felt full after two courses. Would happily go back.

Lovely to see this place open again and that they have not messed about with the room too much. Still the lovely big open fire place and the roof lantern over the dining tables at the back. Food and table service both good and I can see why AA Gill gave it 5*. Our experience was spoilt by a very off hand woman who answered the phone when we tried to book (so rude we booked online instead) and the frosty welcome from the person we presumed was the manager (skinny guy in an ill fitting jacket). He knocked over a pot of sauce at an adjacent table, covering one of the diners, which seemed like Karma and was noticeably less snooty with everyone after that! Why work in a service industry if you find being warm and friendly difficult?

food really excellent for sunday lunch and not your typical gastro pub menu some nice lighter options too. my pork belly literally melted in the mouth. good vibe too. service somewhat slow and although it is lovely that they make their own bread being able to offer 6 slices every half hour for a table of 8 is not quite up to par. we took 2 kids and they were fine with the roast but be aware not a lot of kid friendly food. will definitely go back.

I am very lucky to have the newly revamped Cross Keys! Imaginative and well presented daily changing menus and friendly staff - the rear dining area bright and cheerfully lit by a sky light. Highly recommended.

Attentive & incredibly friendly smiling staff. Recently re-opened with a relaxed vibe, great food and rustic design make this hidden pub, a little classic in Chelsea.

The Cross Keys has a nice busy environment with modern decor, friendly staff and great food. Very imaginative menu. The Wine list well chosen and competitively priced.

A tasty meal. Fun atmosphere. Good people watching. It has just opened so it was packed and therefore service suffered a little bit that can happen. Will be going again. Also, it is dog friendly which was really nice.

Service was very slow (even for menus and drinks). The refurb is ok but tables very tightly packed. Food was ok, but overall, combined with service level, was not worth £110 for 2 people. I've never been to a restaurant where they reprint the menu between ordering starter/ main and dessert. This restaurant is less than 2 minutes from my home, but I doubt I'll try it again for at least 6 months. A huge disappointment. They'll have to up their game to survive in this part of town.

A very pleasing refutbishment but too many dogs including one being fed the estabkishment'so sausage rolls which are far too good for that.

Food was great, noise level unbearable. This is true of other restaurants owned by the same team. Impossible to have a conversation without shouting. I guess the idea is that it creates a buzz...

Amazing Sunday roast. The pork belly was exceptional with a very fine layer of crackling and not too fatty. Although the beef looked a little thinly sliced it had amazing flavour and was cooked perfectly pink. Make sure you try one of the scotch eggs. Atmosphere and staff are wonderful. I would suggest a late Sunday lunch 4.30-ish

Minor teething problems in the kitchen with regards to the friend's lobster order but I had a delicious cauliflower tempura and hake to follow - the service was friendly if a little slow and the overall atmosphere relaxed for a saturday lunchtime. Fab decor. Would go again.
