Great restaurant with good atmosphere and service. Great flavours, a little ion the spicy side, but very tasty.

We ate here at the end of a very busy Easter weekend so a number of our first choice items were off the menu. What we did have was excellent. We will return.

Love this restaurant with proper Indian 'hot' food and extensive range of craft beers. Sunday menu a little different with a range of brunch items like masala spiced scrambled eggs and then the usual thali and dosa options. Staff provide excellent service. Yummy!

That rare thing with Indian food, a small menu where every dish is cooked very well. Try the spiced margaritas and the banana, cardamom and salted caramel ice cream as well as the excellent mains and starters

Delicious, delicately flavoured food, friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend this for top notch Indian food. Just be prepared to pay a bit more than the average.

I loved it. The only thing is to watch big parties. They really ruin an evening for dinrrs who like the nice intimate setting. We wont come back on a friday . Food and drink was lovely.

Great food. We had the January special menu which gave the opportunity to try 3 different curries between 2 people for under £20 with 2 sides and naan. Different dishes to most of the northern indian restaurants we have tried and very tasty. A good mix of spicey and hot dishes and mild and creamy dishes. Staff were charming; Efficient without being intrusive and very friendly. Would definitely go again when next in brighton.

Great food, great service! Lovely place! Staff were mostly friendly, although one was quite sarcastic which was a little uncomfortable at times. Would highly recommend!

My friend and I had the vada to start with. These were rock hard and dry. My friend chose the veg thali and I the breakfast version. I think the food is overpriced and the portions small. Flavours were authentic but overly spiced. For those not initiated it is a different experience. I'm from the sub continent and was not impressed. Service could improve there only two people clearing away and serving on a busy afternoon. Had to wait a long time between courses.

Lovely as always. Friendly service, delicious food and pretty good value. I continue to wish that the thali, which is on the lunch menu, would make its way onto the dinner menu but even so, there's lots of choice. It's also great that everything is so clearly labelled as veggie, vegan, dairy-free or gluten-free.

Amazing service. We were almost 35 mins early but still met and served with the warmest of welcomes. Fab food, amazing atmosphere. Just wish I could have eaten everything !

The Curry Leaf Cafe is charming and lovely. We love our starters and the mains are great too. Although the cafe serves excellent beers, we didn't get any as my date wasn't big on beers. They're worth a look though. They don't serve you lots and lots options, like other Indian places generally do, but we found it to be a positive. They serve excellent food. Highly recommended.

This was the first time I'd tried this new curry house in Brighton and I was lookinf forward to it. I was not disappointed with outstanding food, great range of bottled beers and very friendly service.

We had an amazing time at curry leaf the food was delicious, service very good and very reasonable prices. We would recommend curry leaf to everyone.

Absolutely delicious Thali lunch - all elements went so well together. Good value for money too. They replaced my cucumber raita with another green chutney which i massively appreciated. Will definitely come back next time i am in Brighton!

Fantastic food and ambiance. Despite only being able to get a table for 9.30, staff were still lovely and attentive, and the food and cocktails were as good as i've had recently. The pork and dijon curry is brilliant. Book here - you will not regret it
