Lovely space and decor, friendly staff and good price point for the delicious food. Will definitely come again
Didn't seem to be as many staff on duty so waiting hire some time. Food wason the cool side and beef very bloody
Very, very good. Good quality food. Highly efficient and professional service. An enjoyable experience. Well done to The Devonport!!
Fantastic staff great venue Pity you have to pay extra for basic veg Pricey
Really good food and a great atmosphere. Service was excellent.
Took advantage of the 2 cod and chips for £15 deal. Food was beautifully cooked, well presented and came very quickly. The refurbished restaurant gives a much nicer feel and atmosphere to the place with very attentive but unobtrusive staff
Gorgeous food in beautiful surrounds! Favourite place to eat so thank you⭐️
Lovely meal and calm atmosphere. Fish and chips were great value for money and we weren’t rushed at all. Will return again.
Nice atmosphere and good service but only one vegetarian choice (Sunday menu). Food was average and some portions are very small (beef shin and suet pie). Chef unable to adapt a dish at request.
we had a lovely Sunday lunch in chic surroundings . Tables nicely spaced , so despite being busy , you didn’t feel squashed and bothered by noisy neighbours
Very poor Sunday lunch. Roast potatoes were almost cremated the carrot and swede too sloppy. The white sauce on the broccoli was tasteless and the roast beef so thinly sliced it must have been done on a bacon slicer. On top of that the food was not very hot. Only good point was the roast pork and crackling. We will not come again.
Lovely place, not sure if the wooden floors make it noisy but my husband and I struggled to have a conversation
Good food, beer, service and prices, but somewhat noisy .
Very good experience. We will definitely visit again pretty shortly.
Went for lunch with a group of female friends. Good choice of light bites. Very good staff
Excellent food and service, also nice and busy on a Wednesday evening
Fun place great food great service great addition to the village
Atmosphere was lovely, we had good servers and a great view out onto the front. Food was good, starters were amazing but the roast dinner was nothing to write home about. We have been here during the week, dining from the usual menu- which we much preferred. Will be back again without a doubt, just not on a Sunday.
First visit for 12 years. We won't take as long to return this time!
The new menu, has some very tasty starters added (chorizo and sour cream) and I love the lasagne as it is more solid than some other restaurants which is more to my taste. Fish and chips always lovely and fresh.
Staff very pleasant and friendly , good choice of food, pleasant surroundings
Very nice Sunday lunch, service was good and staff were polite and attentive. Found the area where we were sat a little cold.
I have been to The Davenport several times since it re-opened and have always had a lovely evening so I’m not sure what happened. All three of us were disappointed - it just wasn’t the standard we were expecting.
Great place, excellent interior and great staff. 100% recommend to all.
Great food and service, as always. Good quality and value
Good food, good atmosphere, very good service thoroughly enjoyed it.
would recommend , would visit again. pleasant and convenient venue
As usual the food was great and the staff are friendly and helpful.
As usual the food was great and the staff friendly and helpful.
Very nice place. Service was great too. Food was quite plain and menu was limited.
Excellent! Everything was perfect, food, service and the overall experience
Fantastic food and service. The prawn starter was amazing. Catered for our gluten free requirements, fussy child and puppy. A lovely evening.
Beautiful setting and interior, very friendly staff, spoiled by noisy group
Top spot; top staff; top food. Sensible price we shall return! Thank you.
Good food, nice atmosphere , pleasant staff .. enjoyable visit
First visit to the Devonport - we will be back!
Love the place. Service was good. Main was good. However, desert was disappointing, just a lemon curd jam tart with undercooked meringue and pastry was soft. Expected crisp pastry and real lemon meringue filling with crispy topping
This was my first visit and it did not disappoint (even though there as a power cut and we were unable to sample the dessert menu)
Great food and service in relaxed setting, love the interior!
Good prompt service despite being a very busy Motheting Sunday. Friendly and efficient staff. Menu provided a good range of choice without being too extensive
