Brilliant food, exceptional service, wonderful atmosphere. The journey the Dev has gone on has reached a brilliant point and can now only get better and better. Food is fresh, staff are knowledgeable and wine list is the best in the area.

The restaurant is a lovely setting and has a lovely feeling .The food was ok ..I had mushroom lasagne which was the corner piece and obviously had been warmed as the cheese and lasagne was hard at the edge ..The service was good but felt you were rushed and they wanted you out ..I still would say give the place a try .

As ever a delicious meal with lovely friendly service. I had the tastiest scampi I have ever had and my husband throughly enjoyed the steak pie.

Service was good with a busy atmosphere and food served quickly but temperature of the food was only tepid. The pork loin had too much fat.

Very enjoyable experience and have no hesitation in recommending to others. Nice friendly staff and good food which all four of us enjoyed with no complaints. Two of us had the roast beef which was so 'rare' that a good vet could have had it back on it's feet! But that is the modern style and apparently it was very tasty. The beer was okay but not great. Good ambience.

Nice surroundings, food was ok, drinks were expensive. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Nice evening out, but it was quite pricey and I’m not convinced it was worth the money.

Nice food and friendly staff but some way to go to live up to the expectation! The steak was expensive and the wine list was average but paired together was a good combination.

Great place, food is excellent they even catered for my wife's rice and egg allergies great service this is what Middleton One Row needed, We've always liked Middleton One Row for its walks and views by the river now its got a excellent place for coffee lunch or dinner.

Lovely food. Great fish and chips deal - 2 for £15. Excellent friendly service. Drinks slightly expensive which puts the bill up but overall definitely worth a visit. We will certainly be back.

We love Muse in Yarm and The Bay Horse in Hurworth so we thought we’d try this new addition to this chain of local restaurants and we were not disappointed. Very different to the other locations but every bit as good.

Great meal on Saturday night .staff where great although the drinks where a bit slow coming to the table after we had ordered them. Still there wasn't a rush 😁

Wonderful Sunday Lunch, with crunchy vegetables and the meat options were all cooked to perfection (I tried everyone’s! ☺️) Great Staff, which always make a difference.

The Devenport has been refurbished to a high standard the food was excellent the only thing that let it down was the length of time to be served 49 minutes for main course and similar for dessert.

Super Sunday lunch. Even though I had fish and chips which was just like the fish shop!

Very pleasant venue, nice and warm on a cold winters evening. The staff are very friendly and helpful.The starters are a bit on the big size for me, I would prefer a smaller starter and obviously pay less, the main meal was nice.

It has been refurbished beautifully and the food was great. The dessert was divine!! Will definitely be going back again soon for my husband's birthday

First Visit for Sunday Lunch Excellent.This was our first visit for a number of years.Reccomended by our Son.We will be bacck again in the near future

We had Sunday lunch the beef was cooked just right and the pork was lovely the staff were very friendly and service excellent, we'll definitely be going back

The restaurant has been renovated to a very high standard. The food and service was also of a very high standard. Everyone in our party from young children to grandparents enjoyed their food. I had the shin of beef pie which was melt in the mouth! Highly recommend. Already booked to go back!

Friendly staff, meals were reasonable price, food was good but not exceptional. Unfortunately the table we were given was in an extremely drafty position .

The ribs for a starter melted in the mouth and the Kiev was first rate with friendly service and a great atmosphere. Good choice of beers and wines.

Being real ale drinkers we were disappointed to find neither of the 2 options were available. Food was excellent with great choices. Pity it was quiet but maybe that was because it was mid week.

Great place, fab food! Really enjoyed the ambience and will definitely be back to try the other dishes. Also took my children who felt very welcome.

First time trying The Devonport and LOVED IT. The place looks fab, smart but cosy, lovely staff, nice amount of choice and the food was amazing (recommending the nibbles - we shared all 4!). Overall a fab addition to the village!

The hotel is fantastic and refurbished to a very high standard. My husband and I stayed in the hotel and the room was amazing. They have a lovely cosy bar area with a burning log fire which we loved. We also ate in the restaurant area for evening meal and the food and service was exceptional. Will definitely be coming again !

Really good venue. Excellent food, staff friendly and helpful and service top Notch.....will be recommending to my patients. Also dog friendly and able to sit in the cosy bar.
