Food was amazing. Alot for the price, to the extent we couldn't finish it. Staff great too.

The Dog at Dunley served a very good Sunday Lunch. The food was cooked perfectly, generously proportioned, and the service was good and cheerful. The dining room was cosy and warm. The bill was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

We had the light bites, starter & main both very tasty & good deal, followed by coffee in front of the log fire. Service was good too! A very pleasant visit.

They messed up the order, 3 tables was served before us , when I asked, our order has not been put in , we then changed it to take home . Not happy as we don't go out very often and was looking forward to it.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Food served quickly and was absolutely wonderful i had a child's Sunday dinner which is quite adequate for me so left me room for a lovely chocolate brownie dessert.

Lovely Sunday lunch today. Good portion size with lots of meat. Good choice of pudding and very delicious too.

Lovely little cosy lounge with roaring log fire which was well tended. The waiter / bar person (Conner) was attentive, friendly & very professional. The food was fantastic & we complimented the chef. We will definitely be back. It was a great all round experience. Thank you to all the staff (& the owner who came out & chatted to us) x

Our party of four with different dietary requirements enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Dog at Dunley. Despite a party of 19 people preceeding our arrival, our orders were taken quite quickly, helpfully and cheerfully and our excellent meals were served within a reasonable period of time. We would have no hesitation in recommending this venue to anyone who ask. We look forward to our next visit, thank you to all the staff at the Dog.

Went the Dog at Dunley as a last minute idea, haven’t been for some time. The restaurant is nicely done. The food was very nice and portions more than generous. Had a lovely experience.

We have eaten here many times , the food is amazing. The portion sizes are huge , so think twice before ordering starters. Sunday lunches are beautiful. The food is always cooked to a constant high standard and prices are very reasonable. Friendly and helpful staff too .

Wholesome fresh food and a cracking beer garden. Lovely place to visit, will be back again, maybe for a weekend breakfast.

Starters were lovely but roast dinner was terrible, we waited ages for our dinner and waiter came and asked us what we wanted for pudding when we never had our main I think they forgot about us food under cooked and dried out won’t be coming again

Recommend not to have Mac and cheese as it was terrible, had a starter which was soup which was ok , the mains was vegetarian lasagna which was awful tasteless with a thick white goo on top very little filling aswell , the desert was treacle sponge which actually tasted like marmalade??

Starters took 30 minutes to come out, then initially wrong order, mains came out 45 minutes later and vegetables were mushy, roast potatoes barely cooked!

Went on a Friday lunchtime, very quiet food excellent as was the service.

I have visited quite a few times in recent. Butvits been a bit of a gap recently with work commitments. Visited again tonight with a colleague.. Super fresh hot cooked food.. Excellent value for money.. A very relaxes meal... Excellent

Been here before, so we knew the food was really good. Not disappointed. Lovely peaceful atmosphere. Very warming. Great service. Staff were very polite and attentive.

We are fairly regular visitors, and are always well satisfied. The fiod was excellent abd very good value for money. Excellent attention from the staff although the wait wzs perhaps slightly longer than we might have liked.
