From the Caribbean to Chorlton, The Drop Bar Cafe slings gastronomic bikkle bombs bound to make the city’s tastebuds tickle. The passion project of two friends inspired by West Indian fare, The Drop brings classics like goat curry, Jamaican jerk chicken, ackee and saltfish windward to the Greater Manchester region. Best washed down with The Drop’s dangerously good rum punch, this colourful and cosy restaurant down barlow Moor Road is quickly becoming a hot ticket in the neighbourhood. With a nod to the great British tradition of remixing breakfast into lunch and celebrating the sabbath with a feast, The Drop’s Barlow Moor Road Brunch and Reggae or Rasta Sunday Roasts are highlights of this carefully-selected collection of mouthwateringly good dining choices.
The drop is by far the best Jamaican food I’ve had in Manchester! Amazing value for money and real authentic feel!
The food is always great well thought out options would recommend a visit if you haven't already done so .This is a must place to eat and experience
Great atmosphere - everyone seemed to be having a great time. The food was delicious and plentiful (I couldn't finish mine) and extremely reasonably priced. Staff were very lovely too, despite how busy they were. I look forward to visiting the drop again!
