Nice warm greeting, the young lady was very helpful. The dining room was a little cold at first so we moved to next to a radiator. The food arrived in a timely manner and it was delicious. We were both full and couldn't manage a dessert :-(
Excellent food and choice. Prices good and ambience just right. Will return despite Mens toilet in poor condition not clean in corners and rather smelly.unusual.
Heard a lot about this pub from others . Surroundings were lovely, choice on menu was vast. Meals were beautifully prepared and presented. Quality of food was superb . A meal fit for a king Most definitely will go back, in fact we’ve rebooked for December before leaving but I’m sure will visit before then.
One of the best meals i have had for a long time the food and staff where second to none how anybody can complain astounds me
Good food and good service. Friendly atmosphere and not made to feel any rush to leave. Booking was simple and would definitely recommend to friends.

Had a lovely fillet steak with peppercorn sauce cooked to perfection.....staff friendly and helpful. Friends ordered lasagne and gammon both very happy with what they had. Will definitely be back.
We love this restaurant! The meals are always lovely with a great range to choose from. The chocolate orange brownie is amazing!! Would definitely recommend.
Great food at a fabulous price 2 meals for £12 (Thursday lunchtime) very welcoming staff and good service I can't wait to visit again one evening soon
The menu was interesting. We all liked the meals we chose, especially the berry desert. The service was efficient and the waitresses pleasant. Prices were good.
Very friendly staff & the food was absolutely delicious. Will be back to try more delicious meals off the menu. Definately recommend & maybe next time have room for a dessert
The staff are very pleasant and make you very welcome the food is excellent and you are not rushed between courses so you have time to enjoy your meal really worth a visit
Very helpful staff who on the day visited coped very well with a full restaurant due to a bus trip visit. We all had the fish and chip special which was fair but I have had much better. The batter on the fish was strange colour and flavour. My husband had sticky toffee pudding which was home made but to be honest not at all sticky just like a plain sponge. I had coffee with cream , the cream looked as though it had gone off as it curdled when it hit the coffee . I asked the waitress if it was off and she stated it was just the cream they used. Overall a fair visit but would not rush back
Excellent service and the food was very good Both my wife and I enjoyed it. Only negative was not enough Rose by the glass selection Dishes of the day are good, could be a bit more extensive
Excellent service from very attentive and helpful waitresses. The ford was of good quality well presented. The tables are well spaced and we were not aqueezed around a small table
