Lovely, swift and friendly service. Nice kids menu and wide, multicultural main menu. Food was tasty and 2-4-1 menu main it well priced too.

Lovely food and service but a little too noisy for a couple being sat next to a party of people having a baby shower but all in all enjoyed our meal and visit and will be visiting again soon.

Our waitress gave us fantastic customer service with a lovely smile and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this pub as it is clean, bright and accommodating to different peoples dietary requirements.

today we had the beef braising steak with mash and veg it was lovely and even better to find that they are all on 2 for 1 now so great price too well worth a visit

the torn beef Yorkshires in creamy horseradish sauce were an amazing starter always lots of variety on the specials board not just your average pub grub here can't wait to try the new menu when it arrives in 2 weeks! always friendly and welcoming

Good menu with gluten free and vegan /vegetarian options .Prices reasonable .They couldn't have been more helpful for us as I have an intolerance to dairy and gluten and also I'm a vegetarian ! Lovely food Thank you !

Definitely the best local carvery. Excellent service, fantastic food. Very rare you get lamb as a choice of meat at any carvery. Have recommended the elwes arms to many friends and they have all thoroughly enjoyed and returned

My friend & I had a lovely meal today 22nd Dec. Luke the waiter was a lovely man very pleasant too. It was my friends 1st time visit today he was very impressed it was my 3rd visit. Lovely pub, we went at lunchtime on a weekday, wasn't very busy but food and service was excellent. It is a bit out of the way but well worth a trip.

We was seen to nice and quickly and service was really friendly and helpful. Food was lovely and very filling. I Definitely would go back.

First time at the Elwes for quite a few years, taking the family for Sunday lunch. Top marks all round! Excellent service, very warm and welcoming atmospher and first class food. I understand the meat is from Robinsons and was spot-on! We wont leave it as long next time and will certainly be going back. Many thanks for getting us in at short notice. The James's. :)

Lovely place staff look after you very well very personable. Carvery was excellent plenty of choice with four different meats . Vegetables well cooked and crispy roast potatoes all in all a lovely meal

The restaurant is very clean and looks really nice with the white cotton tablecloths and serviettes. The food is always really good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent service.

The food was exceptional,everything was done just nice.The service was great. The staff were very pleasant,couldn't ask for more for a Sunday lunch trip out.

We booked a table for my husbands birthday there were 7 adults and 4 children We all enjoyed our meals can’t fault them Friendly staff The only problem we had was there were no children’s menu offered to us and we didn’t know how much their meals would be until the bill arrived Other than that it was brilliant

Excellent food and service. No bread served with the prawn cocktail which 8 of us expected. However this was resolved when we asked for some bread.

Food was lovely as was the atomosphere. There was a little issue with the bill but the manager got in touch and sorted that out demonstrating amazing customer service but also shows that she truely cares about her business and customers. This is incredibly rare these days and very much appreciated. See you again soon

Excellent welcome. Pleasant if worn surroundings. Varied menu with excellent starters. Lamb cutlets excellent, fried Cod v, good, only disappointment was the special of the day roast beef which was clearly pre sliced pre packaged🤔 Seemed a shame as overall a great meal for four for under £100
