Spent over 2 hours waiting before we got our main course; staff seemed to be disorganised, food was good but it just took to long to get a Sunday roast.

No forewarning of lack of drinks licence but staff lovely but service very slow. Food really good however. Has great potential if they can sort out the problems.

The reastautant was a bit cold. I had to bring my own alcohol as they hadn’t realised how long it would take to extend the license. Steak was over-cooked and dry. Service was excellent and decor nice. Everything else was fine. Not many people there for a Friday night. A couple of years ago it was more popular.

We had a Groupon voucher for 2 steak dinners with wine. When we arrrived to redeem the offer, we were told that they had no drinks license. They told us they could have a bottle of wine but we couldn’t drink it with the meal, we would have to take it home. We left. The place was deserted. Seems very badly organised to forget something as fundamental as a drinks license. I’d be very surprised if it stays open for much longer.

A friendly but inexperienced waiting service. Our waiter wrote down our order wrong a couple of times due to language problems but all he needed to do was read it back to us! However, the food was quite reasonable and although the place was quiet the ambience was pretty OK. I had roast chicken with all the usual attachments and it was a most generous helping. My wife and her mum had bream which they enjoyed. We also enjoyed a fine, dry, white Rioja. After dinner coffee was mediocre.

They'd lost their liquor license and also didn't seem to receive our reservation and said we could sit and wait 15 mins for a table to come free.. so we ended up leaving and going somewhere else in Crystal Palace.

The Roast beef dinners are truley amazing , very generous Serving which is just enough , creamed cabbage , glazed carrots and broccoli accompany your roast potatoes Yorkshire pudding sausage stuffing and yummy gravy , the service is very quick and friendly the only concern is that it’s always very quiet , this is my 5th visit and eveytime was empty for most of our meal , I’m not sure why people are not coming but please come and check it out !! USE IT OR LOSE IT !!!!

We’ve been here before but only on a weekend. The Tuesday steak deal is fantastic value and the steak was so tender. The service was impeccable too!

I'd read some pretty damning reviews but was prepared to keep an open mind. Got a nice private table with curtains around us! The food was ok, got there before 7 so we got 2 mains courses for £19 - unfortunately the waitress wasn't aware of this and had to check!! Cocktails were 2 for 1 before 7pm (she brought 2 of my order (a pleasant surprise). starters and Mains were well-preserved and tasty. Had to wait quite a while for our deserts though - apparently they had been dropped!! A good experience, all in all, if a little over-priced, as even with the discount my bill still came to over £80 with service (added by them).

Excellent meal - the food was tasty, good sized portions and fresh ingredients. The service was great and very accommodating to our 17 month old. Lovely place for Father’s Day lunch.

Though surprising quiet for a Sunday, we found the restaurant delightful in atmosphere and ambience. Service was efficient and friendly, my non-alcoholic cocktail was delicious, and the food was some of the best we have ever had, especially the desserts. We will certainly be going again!

Poor service, cold main courses and old furniture piled up on the pavement outside (we thought it was shut at first). Really disappointing for Mother’s Day lunch. It must have changed hands.

Good food and friendly service. The place was festively decorated for the holidays. The facilities could do with some modernisation. The bar downstairs was a bit distracting as it had a different soundtrack than the restaurant. I'm hopeful for this place - a few changes and this could be a Crystal Palace gem.

Great food, pleasant staff, comfortable surroundings. We had the fish which was so tasty. It was a busy night with three Christmas Work celebrations occurring which caused a slower service but staff were efficient and friendly and genuinely apologetic for the delay in ur bread. Would recommend

The Exhibition Rooms is a beautiful restaurant, the atmosphere was lovely although it wasn't very busy. It was perfect for our party of 4 to have a good catch up. The food was excellent, really good quality and perfectly cooked. Three of us had the pork belly and it was really delicious. The chips were a bit too dry for me. Two of us had a glass of the french Merlot which was divine. Will definitely be back!
