Booked party of 5 for my sons 21st, the pub has a lovely atmosphere with open fires and plenty of tables, i would suggest booking as it gets packed, parking at back of pub and prices very reasonable, food is all fresh and homemade and they made a fuss of my son and sung happy birthday. I highly recommend

This was a gift from a friend for our 40th wedding anniversary. A lovely meal in great surroundings. Some limited choices on the menu but when the food arrived after a fair wait, which is warned about on the menu, it was worth waiting for. The prices are moderately high but as it was a gift this was not an issue. A lovely treat.

I love this pub, and me and family have so many happy memories of lovely meals together here. The staff are so efficient and welcoming, the food is good, and the whole experience is special. Thank you all.

Lovely meal - slight delay with food arriving but it was fine as the chef wasn't happy with the first chicken dish and was definitely worth the wait. Dog biscuits provided for our 4 legged friends which was a lovely touch

Fantastic food as always. I had confit duck leg which was delicious and my friend had the bream. I’ve never had a bad meal here, always so tasty and looks like a piece of art when it arrives at the table.

Decided in the morning to have lunch there. Booked easily online. The staff as always were very pleased to see us. Hubby ordered the venison and I had the pork belly. Both meals were exceptional. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
