An absolutely super meal. The choice of dishes, quality and service was excellent. Thank you.

Service was good but wait was long! 1 hour from arrival to food service but food was great. £103.00 for four mains and four drinks was a bit pricey - sign of the times I guess!!!

It was obviously very busy for Mother’s Day and unfortunately we were sat next to a large noisy table (couldn’t hear ourselves speaking unless we shouted at each other). The food was nice and service was ok but it wasn’t as good as I remember it when I ate there in November. I had to get up and chase down staff to get any sauces for the roasts,. If I eat there again I’ll take my own sauces then I’m not limited to a teaspoonful, in a little dish.

Overall good, but waiting time was about an hour and the pork belly we ordered had too much fat (up to 50% of it was just fat).

It was our first time visiting The George Eartham and we were pleasantly surprised as to how cosy and friendly the who place was. We had a really enjoyable lunch and all the staff were very friendly too. We will definitely be visiting this pub/restaurant again soon.

The George has maintained an extremely good standard in every respect for a long time now. The food is always good and priced reasonably, staff are always charming and they are always willing to seat me at a paticular table to suit my hearing disablity. Just wish I lived in Eartham as they have managed to maintain that very special 'pub' atmosphere, unlike so many of their competitors that are simply restaurants that sell beer - grudgingly! Lovely roast - potatoes could have been crispier . Gravy was gorgeous and lots of turkey - we all really enjoyed our meals . The desserts were lovely too

When I booked some weeks ago I specifically asked for a quiet table as one of the party is hard of hearing. Our table was the first table after turning right when entering and was directly opposite the bar. The noise was so loud we could not hear what was being said and we had to shout for our guest to hear. What is the point of asking? A real disappointment. However the staff were efficient and the food was good. I would add we have probably been to the pub at least 6 times prior to this visit and we have always been accommodated and happy with our visit. Please make sure this comment is passed to the pub management, thank you,

Lovely ambiance, good choice of food and drinks and good value too. What more can anyone want. Will be back for sure.
