Brilliant place can’t fault it lovely people and great company

Fantastic food. We both enjoyed “pie night” and a bottle of pino. Great atmosphere even though it wasn’t over busy. It’s the kind of pub you could just sit in all night and natter

We had a sharing plate of nachos which were quite dry and plain. Service was good but food was not the best.

The atmosphere of the place is great being a part of Historic Leicester, being the oldest pub standing! The personnel was really friendly and helpful with a very big smile, they really seemed to enjoy working there. And the food, just amazing!!!

Great food and service. Fantastic choice of beer too. The food has always been excellent and it didn't disappoint. Would recommend this pub to anyone.

We booked a table for 7 pm for a 60th birthday celebration. We did not get any food until 8 pm as a party upstairs took priority. Booking was therefore a complete waste of time. I had Paella it was luke warm with only 3 prawns. the others had pies, fine but not worth the money. Would I go back- No definitely not!

One of the best pub Sunday lunches you can get, especially it's under £15 for a 2 course meal . Relaxed setting in a lovely space with some antique and original features

Good food as expected. The pub had suffered a power outage that morning but contacted us to advise that there might be an issue. We checked with the pub 30 minutes before our booking to be told that there would be a slight delay in service starting for the day but this was acceptable to us to we proceeded.

Nice food but menu choices limited as most of the Sunday lunch options were not available. This was very disappointing as it had been the reason we had booked there. Good portion sizes though and waitress was nice

Traditional pub great beer, nice atmosphere and good quality food. Nice to just go back to basics for a change. We will definitely go back

Excellent food but bar could do with a refurbishment as fairly scruffy with tatty furniture and smell of disinfectant. Service good but 2 issues with the bill.

Great location for lunch with friends after Sunday service at Leicester Cathedral. Good value for money for good food. Would recommend to visitors to Leicester.

We went as a family with adult children. The food was lovely and the service was great. The Globe is a lovely pub and I would recommend.

really good overall (5th year we have been). Just 1 issue with the salmon being slightly undercooked but did not spoil our evening. I'm sure we will be back next year

We always go here for a drink before a rugby game, but decides to have lunch. The staff forgot our drinks first then we had to wait nearly an hour for our mains, then my partners was cold. To too if all they got the bill wrong and tries to charge us more. A real shame as we do like the place but won't be eating again. We weren't the only Ines who had cold mains and others had to send there's back.

Prompt friendly service and good value in pleasant surroundings. Recommended on Trip Advisor. Party if three adults and three children. Would visit The Globe again.

Booked for lunch as doing the Skyride in Leicester. Excellent food, quick and friendly service. Sunday menu had good variety - over and above your standard Sunday roast. Good selection of beers.

Great food and a selection of drinks, nice atmosphere and polite staff, but it took very long for our food to arrive - hence 4.

We both had a roast meal and it was excellent .the dessert was great .......all in all everything was satisfactory we booked the meal went in on time and I our table was there for us

Good cask ale, then a very nice Sunday beef roast with a bottle of wine in an historic old pub. What more could anyone ask?
