Much like the town itself, The Harrogate Brasserie Hotel is sophisticated, elegant and the restaurant offers gourmet food for casual or special occasions. You can be assured of a warm welcome here and whether you’re dining as an early bird, from the a la carte, pre-theatre or for a Sunday roast, the food is bound to impress. What’s available on the menu changes according to season meaning it’s always the best of British, and six nights of the week there is soothing, soft and live jazz music. Find The Harrogate Brasserie Hotel on Cheltenham Parade where it’s absolutely worth heading armed with a reservation.
Music and food go together in wonderful ways, and you’ll find no finer example of these than at The Harrogate Brasserie Hotel. This fine venue in the centre of Harrogate is always buzzing with a friendly atmosphere thanks to its soft lighting and elegant furnishing and decor, and you’ve then got the team of extremely passionate chefs doing all kinds of good in the kitchen. Seasonal ingredients are put to their best use and, if truth be told, taste even better when complemented by the gentle riffs of quality live jazz. Sound like heaven? We thought so.
We can’t speak of what the menu will offer in the months to come, but at the time of writing The Harrogate Brasserie Hotel summer menu consisted of starters like smoked mackerel pate with horseradish cream and pickled cucumber, as well as deep fried brie. In terms of steak, all are from a local, award-winning butchers that’s been providing prime meat and poultry for more than 30 years, while main courses like confit duck leg, slow roasted lamb shoulder or sweet potato and courgette encoute are all laced with quality. Trust us when we say that this is some of the finest food in Harrogate.
The staff couldn’t have been nicer about the fact that we were running late thanks to heavy traffic on the motorways running north. We had a lovely table and even lovelier food. Another great evening at the Harrogate Brasserie.
First class in every respect. Ate from the early bird menu and the quality and presentation of the food was matched by the excellent service. Will certainly be going back
Five of us had lunch at Harrogate Bistro on 9th October. We all enjoyed our various starters and I think we all had sea bass as a main course which was excellent. The staff were very helpful and courteous I think we stayed longer than we should as we were having such a good time but they didn't complain. The Brasserie is one of my favourite Harrogate restaurants. The prices are reasonable too. Suzanne Harrogate
