Excellent Sunday lunch, very generous portions. Staff are particularly delightful, nothing too much trouble. Fires lit and decorations up. Warm welcome. Will certainly go again.

Great menu. Plenty of Gluten free options. Great staff. Dog friendly. It is worth turning off the A30 at Zelah for this great little Gastro Pub.

Lovely fresh food in a historic pub environment. Good ales and good choice of specials. Chicken pie was fantastic, well done chef. Would recommend the Hawkins Arms.

The food was absolutley delicious. The puddings especially were lovely. So glad we went for a small roast to leave room for one. Service was excellent. We were so pleased we rebooked immediately for September.

Excellent meal and very good service. Highly recommended establishment with a very good selection on the menu for all courses. Good atmosphere with combination of old fashioned Village Pub and new conservatory dining area

Excellent food, great service. Definitely worth a trip to Zeelah. The atmosphere in the pub and restaurant was very friendly. The new restaurant a really positive addition to the pub.

Quiet village location, we ate outside as we had a dog with us and the garden isn’t the prettiest. There is a nice conservatory area and the inside of the pub is lovely. I have to say that the food was among the best we’ve ever had in a pub. Baby ribs from the specials board and fish cakes, both served with delicious crunchy chips. I would 100% recommend eating at The Hawkins Arms.

Fabulous food and great (very relaxed) service. I have been meaning to come here for years, on recommendation from others - now that I finally made it, I was not disappointed. Thank you

Welcome was excellent and menu and specials board provided so much choice. The food itself was fantastic, great tasting and well presented. Defo return visit on the cards!

Loved this pub/restaurant. Met the criteria of being halfway between Truro and newquay so we could meet up with friends. The mussels were huge and really meaty, my choice, but everyone enjoyed their meals. Would definitely recommend

Fabulous! Warm welcome and the food was amazing. Huge portions at a very reasonable price. Lots of daily specials as well as full menu and a good children’s menu. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food, and very friendly chef. Lovely, tratituonal pub. Lovely wood burner for warmth. After the meal, four of our group had to leave, so my friend and I moved to a quieter, cozy looking nook, where another burner was blazing away. It was a very cold evening, so the burner looked very inviting! Just a shame it was an electric fake, cold to the touch burner! However, this was my only issue!

Food was really good and staff attentive and kind. However, our enjoyment was marred somewhat by loud mouthed people sitting in the bar just behind us. We would have asked to be moved had we not been in the middle of eating our main course when they sat down.

Always excellent food at the Hawkins, but still retaining the old pub atmosphere that other pubs may lack these days. Keep on doing what you’re doing..
