We went as a family of 4 for Sunday lunch. Service was very slow and our food took over an hour to get to us.

Children should be restricted in dinning areas its not acceptable to eat your dinner with disrespectful children running wild its pub responsibilities to look after interests of your customers children should not be allow certain times of the day its stressful trying to enjoy your meal in peace with kids running under tables children should disciplined when out dining

Great shame that my friend and I were the only people there on a Saturday evening.

Bit of a mix up with the booking but they still found a table for us. Food was delicious and a small issue was resolved quickly without fuss. Great value for money and thoroughly enjoyable. Would happily recommend the Sunday roast!

The pate tasted like it was out of a cheap jar, on bread that wasn’t toasted well. Then for the main, mediocre food served on a cold plate meaning everything was freezing cold within a couple of minutes. The veg was embarrassing. One small piece of broccoli & 2 pieces of carrot. The pork was 80% far and inedible. The mash was decent as was the beef. £40 for a school dinner. I’ll make a Sunday roast myself at home next time.

Lovely food and staff not to busy and good seating

Everything we requested was ready for us. Staff extremely pleasant, food good, no feeling of being rushed . All a very enjoyable experience.

It was our first visit to the Heaton & what a great experience it was. The food was brilliant, we could not fault it. Staff were very friendly & professional. Great time had by all.

Food normally really good but a little disappointing this time; chips VERY overcooked, small portion size and very odd tasting mushy peas. On the plus side, our son's meal was lovely, and the service and venue as lovely as ever.

Very tasty food, good portions and excellent service. A fantastic edition to the area. Also brilliant we could bring our dog too.

Excellent Sunday roast with free range chicken. Fish and chips delicious and sticky toffee pudding to die for. Dog friendly and brought her a bowl of water straight away Thank and see you all soon Jayne

Visited for a 'get-together' with friends and very impressed with the changes carried out to the place. All staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was very tasty with good sized portions. Good wine list at reasonable prices. There was an excellent live singer on when we went but just a little loud for conversation at times. Overall experience was very good and well worth a visit.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family reasonably priced fast and efficient service. Regularly enjoy a Sunday lunch here and it never disappoints.

Food was really nice but place was very quiet for a Friday night and not a lot of atmosphere. Waiting on staff were great

We had a lovely time as always thank you. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Plenty of choice for all ages. Staff very polite and attentive.

Our second visit here and it didn't disappoint. Friendly service and quality food. Not the cheapest but worth the extra. Definitely our "go-to" local eaterie!

We really enjoyed our vist the team couldn’t do enough for us the food was amazing big shoot out to Diane who was out waitress so we didn’t have to move all night would definitely recommend to other people and we will be back

This place has never fail to deliver. I had the seabass and my friend had the short rib for main and it was perfectly cooked.

Lovely place, great veanue pleasant staff nothing to much trouble great price.

We had an excellent lunch here with great service and cocktails. It was very spacious so didn't feel cramp even with 3 prams. The staff was very helpful when we needed hot water to warm up some milk for the babies.

Lovely service, nice food and very child friendly. We went early evening with two young children and they were very accommodating. Our only negative was that the dessert was very dense chocolate so it was a little over-powering. Other than that, we had a lovely time.

A bit disappointed with starter choices, (a bit too fancy for me) but the main course of top rib steak was lovely. Food was hot. Service good, pleasant staff. Didn’t have dessert but they looked good.

We felt welcomed the second we walked throught the doors. The decor was very nice. The food was excellent and the 2 for £10 cocktails were bargain! We had a great experience and will be back again tomorrow with friends.

Went for lunch with a friend and it was wonderful, served by a lovely woman and food was delicious! Top marks for the Heaton today
