The Honiton Wine Bar is an elegant and genuinely endearing restaurant in, well, Honiton. Even in this quiet part of East Devon The Honiton Wine Bar manages to generate a very European-feeling atmosphere that locals just love. The menu, curated and executed with aplomb by a young yet talented head chef, offers flavours inspired by Italy, France and, of course, Great Britain, and the approach is very much quality over quantity. Dishes from this small menu are cooked up with love in an even smaller kitchen and the result is a special feeling when you’re eating. The wine at this Honiton hotspot is also great, obviously.
food excellent and the atmosphere was very friendly, would definitely go again
The meal was very tasty and served very efficiently. Unfortunately the acoustics are not good and so loud noises from people enjoying themselves disturbs everybody trying to have a nice quiet chat.
Very poor my steak was cooked very nice sauce very poor some side salad would have been nice my wife and daughter had the duck it was rubbery should have had a tai sauce but it was some kind of inedible slop no hint of tai the sweet was inedible also what has happened to plates who wants pudding on a slate would not eat there again very poor.
