Horns Inn Ferndown

Lovely ambience and very good menu. I had the lamb shank which was very nice. However it was only warm not hot which spoilt it. It would have been delicious hot !

I had a Light lunch of fishcake and salad. The fish cake Was ok But the salad consisted of uneatable hard cold broccoli Mange2 peas which were very stringy, Uneatable tough sun-dried tomatoes and lots of spinach leaves. There is no way this could be called a salad. The staff were very nice.

As always fabulous food service friendly will be back again time and time again

We were able to enjoy a pleasant birthday meal, good service not too busy, nice atmosphere.

The food was very good and fairly priced but I had to query the final bill which was incorrectly charged but was sorted straight away

Food was good but the lady who serves needs a bit of tuition in customer service. Not friendly. When I ordered, I asked what the choice of sides were and she said ‘whatever you read on the menu’! It was written in front of her on the till but she couldn’t be bothered to read it out. Very off hand all round to be honest, felt like she wasn’t happy being there. Blonde lady in her 50’s serving at lunch on Saturday.

Menu quite good for afternoon service, nicely presented, and hot. Would prefer table service.

Food was really good, but the service at the bar was really slow.

Lovely visit today meeting up with some friends for lunch. We ordered outside sat in the sun via the app. Speedy service and food was spot on.

It's our local so we like it there. Just a pity the date I booked didn't filter through. I booked 1 September, Horns inn had us booked on 9 September. You need to fix this!!!

Visited The Horns before, always good food and value. Will come again.

in special section for 'comments' I had requested any table near a window and stated NOT in another area which we don't like . they put us nowhere near a window in the horrible area!! why have a comments box if they don't read them. we moved! food OK, but not good, not up to normal standard. Beef pie was full of one lump of fatty grossly beef. Seafood pie totally flavourless. long wait for dessert too. We've been many many times, but have decided we probably will meet up somewhere else next time, as the pub has gone past its best now.
