Thank you for a lovely first visit on Sunday. The front of house team were absolutely amazing, and very accommodating with our sausage dog seating us in the dog friendly area and fussing over him. Our Sunday roast was delicious and we would highly recommend anyone to pay a visit. We already can’t wait to come back in the New Year. Thank you again & Happy Christmas to the whole team.

Great food & service, staff very attentive. However where we were sat was pretty chilly. Diners nearby ate with their woolly hats on!

The staff were excellent and really professional. They went the extra mile. The pub is lovely and well spaced out. Love how dog friendly they are. Food was tasty but the beef from the beef dinner was not good.

It was quite early in the evening 5.30. The place was quite and a little cool so atmosphere wasn't great, the waiter and staff where very polite and nice, the decor is lovely! Menu is small but good, unfortunately my partners food was warm on the outside but hotter inside, but she and I like our food piping hot, it wasn't to cool to complain though! Overall very nice but would go at peak time next visit!

Attended with my daughter and grandsons one of whom was celebrating his 8th birthday. The staff were brilliant and made a fuss of him. Food was excellent.

We were actually staying at the Horse & Farrier , when we arrived in the restaurant we were greeted warmly , seated promptly & looked after really well by our friendly waiter , who was very knowledgable with the beer , wine & food on offer. Food was lovely !

Very good tasty hot food well priced and attentive service.

Food, drink and service very good. Didn't like sitting next to a couple of gents having a business meeting and swearing. Didn't complain or we would have left, but as visitors to the area we didn't know where else to go at short notice.

Great home made food . Excellent service. We will come back.

Always lovely service a lovely tasty food. Chef 👨‍🍳 is brilliant . Lovely seating and staff very friendly. The only thing they could change is reduce the size of the Sunday lunches. They are enormous. I requested a smaller portion which they did for me . Still struggled but just about had enough room for a pud. Extra thanks to Samantha xx

Wasn’t up to it’s normal standard for Sunday dinner, beef was chewy and had grizzle in it and there was so much pepper on the veg we couldn’t eat it!

Food was nice, could do with some specials to change up the menu a bit.

Food was good - sides and desserts seem to have gone up massively in price (over £7 for a dessert is a bit excessive!)
