Fantastic highly recommend this establishment, family friendly too, amazing !!
Had a lovely evening with friends. Would go again .
Rooms rather dark on a dull day. Difficult to manoeuvre through the two very heavy, almost adjoining doors in entrance to ladies toilet. Everything else lovely, thank you.
We were disappointed that they had run out of Sunday roast dinners, the whole reason for going to The Inn on the Pond on a Sunday. We were not informed of this fact when we arrived and shown to our table. We had one drink and left.
Food was very disappointing. Dry pork and tasted really odd. Crackling hard and not chewable. Dry Yorkshire pudding and some vegetables missing. Really not great at all.
Lovely pub and delicious food. Great service and wonderful ambience
Overall reasonable experience. Most of us had Sunday roast however, some elements on the plate were cold.
Great meal, incredible sticky toffee pudding. Very friendly with our dog. We will be back very soon.
They don’t do food on bank holidays so we went back home to eat - nothing immediately viewable on website to say this - very fed up and disappointed
Lovely staff, friendly and attentive. I had prawn cocktail and came in a glass so was difficult to eat lettuce with prawns. I would have preferred it on a plate. Had bbq ribs too which were nice but quite over cooked. Overall experience was still good
Lovely Roast would have given top marks but veg not cooked enough
Always serve a good roast. Friendly service and Spitfire on fraught.
Great food and service. Would recommend a Sunday roast with the family.
Very friendly bar lady. Good simple food. Lovely location. Good car park. So all round a very nice pub and we’d go there again.
excellant for everything noise cannot be helped could use toplevel
We ate Sunday lunch outside, and, because we sat outside we are unable to set up a bar tab. The Inn On The Pond won't let you leave a credit / debit card behind the bar.
Lovely food and location. Would definitely recommend to friends and family
A pleasant evening meal in a country pub with a relaxed atmosphere.
Lovely food. Good setting. Attentive staff. Will definitely visit again when I am in the area.
Loved it. Great food and well looked after by the friendly and helpful staff
We had a very tasty family meal, and even though it was really busy inside and out, they kept pace with everything. Nice touch with the indoor lights.
Fab food and service will definitely return... a little gem .
Had a fantastic meal and the staff could have been more helpful
We were a big group with 2 young restless children and the staff were lovely, friendly & helpful. The food was quick even though it was busy, good portion sizes and very tasty. We will definitely be back!
Everyone was lovely & friendly, we stayed ages & there was no sign that we were unwelcome. We will definitely come back. Thank you!
Foods amazing, staff are really friendly and it helps when the suns out as well - would recommend to all :-)
A great welcome, very friendly, food is very nice too..... lovely pub
Wonderful setting and lovely food. We ended up sitting outside rather than in as it was such a beautiful day and the view is gorgeous!
Couldn't fault it! Great Sunday roast, friendly staff, great selections on tap. We'll be coming again 😊👍
It was my husband's 75th birthday and we were given a lovely table by the window overlooking the green and cricket, as requested.
Got mains before starters. No relish with pate as advertised, beef very tough, overall a disappointment
The pub and setting are very pretty. It appears to have changed management since our last visit. Place was very understaffed one waitress who was lovely but clearly they needed help. We'd pre booked and upon requesting a change to an outside table - which hadn't even been reserved as all tables outside were taken - we received a frosty response from I presume the landlady who spoke to us with her back to us. We waited ages for our order to be taken so my husband and I approached the bar to find a barman busy sniffing the landlady arm. Despite him seeing us and facing us this frolicking continued with no apology. I'm not a prude but we were both frankly appalled . The menu was fairly basic but the food was ok. We'd been here before on previous occasions because the food was v good which is why we chose it again as it was for q birthday celebration. Despite it being g waitress service we had to find the waitress to take our desert order and similarly the same when we wanted to pay. Would not return through choice.
Great pub lovely food will be back soon for another meal
Pleasant waiting staff. Food was lovely. A little noisy, but it was Father's Day.
Lovely food and very friendly staff! Perfect Father’s Day celebration
Good evening. Lovely fish and chips. Great staff. We enjoyed it
