Excellent food, great service, everyone very happy. We ordered starters and mains which were all excellent. My daughter had the children's menu and finished everything.
Couldn't fault our meal. Delicious food, good value, wonderful friendly helpful service. All 4 of us loved it. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.
You cannot beat their Sunday lunch , delicious food , great menu , friendly service and close to home ! I would highly recommend to others
Fantastic pub with a great restaurant. Owners are very friendly and run a great, efficient team. Food was also very good and menu offered some interesting choices. DEFINITELY worth a visit!!
The Jolly Gardeners is a great pub - our local in Earlsfield. This was the first time we've eaten there and I couldn't recommend it highly enough - it's a different class from even some of the best 'pub food' in the area - this is proper, fresh ingredients, unique recipes, beautifully presented and not overloaded with carbs. They even managed to cater for my vegan sister. The service is always excellent - with staff always on hand to top up your drinks.
Overall great experience. Had to change my booking slightly when I needed to add more people to my table and found the staff very accommodating when ringing up the day before to arrange this. Service was very good when we were there and food was great. Only criticism was that with the roast chicken there was a bit too much stuffing and not enough chicken. Would, however highly recommend The Jolly Gardeners to other dinners.
Excellent friendly & informative service & delicious food - my husband had the beef burger and l had the spicy chicken burger and we shared chips - coleslaw (made with red cabbage) - tomato salad - fennel salad. Could not have had a better lunch time experience on our 26th Wedding Anniversary! Surprised Pub was not very busy on a Thursday lunchtime. Pub was recommended to us by family members. Will go again.
We both had ravioli to start and the lamb. I don't think I've ever tasted anything so delicious. both courses. but the lamb was the best lamb I've ever eaten. Awful to say, but driving past baby lambs over the weekend, It was all I could think about!!! Also a bottle of Prosecco, which was a very good price and wonderful....
Roast beef was great as always. The staff were very accommodating of the three children we had with us however I didn't think the options for the children were great. I had my two year old and ordered the chicken and chips. The chicken was very tough and fried. I am sure it would be fine for an older child but not great for the younger kids. Overall a great lunch though.
We went for Sunday Lunch -23/7. Greeting pretty good but bit of a struggle thereafter. We all had roast beef which was a generous portion of quality meat cooked as requested. It was rather let down by the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding which were not crispy or hot .Other veg fine. All 3 of us agreed on this. Wine reasonably priced. The beef was £19.95 from memory and thus at the upper end of local pricing. At that price we would need reassurances re potatoes etc before rushing back
