The food was great however we booked the restaurant weeks in advance and were seated in the lounge area instead of the restaurant. No-one else was eating food in here only people having drinks. We were also surrounded by people using it as a thoroughfare to the outside balcony to view the acts below. The people were queuing for drinks at the bar around our table to enable them to access the balcony. This made it an unpleasant experience for eating our dinner. We have eaten in the restaurant on numerous occassions before and have never been seated in the bar area, this has put me off returning!

Ordered kids desserts long before adults desserts. Chased 4 times. Took far too long for the 4 children under 7. Was not a good service experience.

Location fantastic, restaurant décor a little tired, food just ok but decent value and service simply terrible. Had to find a server for order to be taken after 25 minutes and same again when trying to get the bill. Restaurant wasn't busy just ineffective staff.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The starter we had was nice but the service was shambolic. The main course took so long to arrive that we paid for what we'd had and left.

The views were the best thing about this place. It overlooks Loch Lomond and is decorated in a typically Scottish manner, tartan. The food was lovely in quality and portion size. Would definitely go back!

The waiter staff would great and very attentive. We ordered a bottle of prosecco, but they didn't have a normal sized bottle so offered 4 mini ones for the same price. The food was fine. After being in the restaurant for nearly an hour (We arrived 20 mins early for our reservation) I received a phone call and voicemail from the manager of the restaurant wanted to know when we would be arriving for our table reservation. When I notified a member of staff about this, he apologised a lot for the mix up. At no stage did the manager, who made the call come and apologise and in actual fact pushed passed me when I got up from our table to go to the toilet. Overall experience was fine, not impressed at all with the manager, and I doubt I will be rushing back.

Food wasn't good and very over priced for what was received. Service was rather forceful and restaurants decor was tacky. Our table was also sticky which is rather off putting. Won't return.

After passing by this restaurant over the years during our annual visit to loch lomond I was determined to eat there this year and we were not disappointed. Cocktails on the balcony watching the sunset over the loch then inside for great value locally sourced food. Really hope more people visit and get to experience what this great place has to offer

The online menu had mussels, which is why we went to that restaurant in the first place. Disappointingly, they never had any mussels when we arrived, but we stayed anyway and I had easily the best steak in a couple of years. So that counts as a win.
