More about the restaurant: The King's Arms
Thai and pub fusion? That’s a thing by now, don’t you know? Of course, there’s been a number of these babies springing up across the capital and its outskirts, so it should come as no surprise that Epsom’s East Street has one too. The Kings Arms serves excellent spicy Thai specialties inside a pub brimming with character. You’ll count yourself lucky if you manage to leave at all once you’re there.

There’s something about Thai food that has really captured the imagination of the British public. Perhaps the vice-like grip Indian cuisine exercises on our collective palates has meant that we’re keener than our neighbours on the spicy stuff, or maybe it’s just that no one wants to eat bacon butties every day for 80 or so years… Either way, Thai food is here to stay and the Kings Arms are offering steaming plates of Thai food in the familiar surrounds of a pub for Epsom’s hungry hordes.
The menu has highlights from across Asia, including classic Thai curries and a selection of other goodies from Malaysia and Indonesia. Join the fun in the week and enjoy Crafty Mondays (that’s a Pilsner and burger offer), Tasty Tuesdays (Thai food, drinks and sides on offer here), Steak Wednesdays (needs no explanation), and our fave, Bubbly Thursdays (hello bottle of Prosecco with your sharing platter). Of course, the Kings Arms on East Street in Epson is not only a Thai restaurant, it is also very much a pub, so head down to the weekly quiz nights, or catch some live music in the bar area, after you’ve eaten, naturally.
