Very enjoyable meal and evening. Very well done. We are here 3years ago and the level of satisfaction has not diminished!

Very small portions and expensive for what you get. We were still hungry after 3 courses. The apricot cheesecake was very bland, did not taste of apricot at all. The restaurant is a little tired inside and could do with a refurb. We had good service though and a nice window table.

Good welcome, very tasty food, portions right size for us - some may think small. Shame we sat right by door, Reservation essential, full on a Monday evening

I eat here every time in Inverness as food is really good with good service and great views. It is very central. The only downside this time was that I requested to sit up stairs but we were seated downstairs right beside the door and it was very cold and uncomfortable. I booked 10 weeks in advance so very disappointed to have the seat downstairs.

My husband had the beef cheeks and I had the venison. They were both excellent! We were seated upstairs by the windows over looking the River Ness. So beautiful! I definitely recommend coming here!

Food just delicious. Venue beautiful with amazing views. Staff so friendly. Plus we weren’t rushed out at the end of our meal and not made to feel uncomfortable when we continued to chat!! We will definitely be back.

The food was well cooked, well presented and the venison in particular of good quality. The service was ok. The whole evening was let down by the ambience which was more akin to a cafe than the quality restaurant it appears to be aspiring to and pricing itself as.

Had a lovely dinner by the window for my birthday.

We tasted some really good food - the only downside was that we were left waiting too long between our starter and main - when they did arrive the plates were hot but the food was cold - such a disappointment

Very nice service and the food was very tasty !!

The food was great in taste and presentation. I feel that they could have helped by adding a few low cost additions like crisp bread with the goats cheese to make it more filling and a vegetable with the venison like wise. I am not a big eater but I found the two small slices of venison on the plate a little meagre as a main. Being a chef myself, I understand the balance of cost and delivery but I had to go home and have more food afterwards (again, unusual as I am not a big eater). I would definitely go back and found everything great except the light bulb in my eyes where I was sitting. Great authentic flavours and good ideas coming out of the kitchen.

We really enjoyed our visit. The food, service and the whole meal was fantastic. When my wife asked for a change to a dish as she is vegetarian it was no problem and they also checked a dish that I was having as it had some meat in it. We recommend this restaurant. It is excellent.

Have been here several times and the food is always excellent however starting to get very pricey for the serving you get. I would still go back.

Food was superb however the restaurant was very cold which only added to being seated near the door.

Our table was easily changed from our time and seating from 2 to 4 people without a problem. Food was lovely no complaints at all and staff were more than pleasant, great overall experience.
