Limited menu, availability poor, nothing catered for people with food intolerance, food substandard. Venison tough like leather, 35 minutes before food arrived. Vastly overpriced. I’m local and have always supported this restaurant. Will not be back!

A delicious meal but I do feel that £40 for 2 courses is too expensive. It would work out that my main cost between £25 and £30 and my starter between £10 and £15.

Slightly disappointed with our meal if I am to be honest. A lovely window table overlooking the river. Our server presented us with a menu and a set preamble before we had really even settled into our seats. In describing the soup of the day he said he really wouldn’t have ordered it himself which I felt quite inappropriate. It felt sort of rushed even though the restaurant was quite empty. Menu presented had a limited choice, two or three courses £40 & £45 unlike the menu of the webpage which had much better and more choices. While my wife’s first course of Pork Belly was wonderful, my chicken and pork Terrine with a few crackers and some onion jam was quite underwhelming. Unfortunately my main course of two small pieces of Venison were slightly over cooked and as such quite tough but the red wine jus was very tasty. Not sure what happened to the Jerusalem artichokes that the menu said it came with but they were missing from the plate. Just a side of potatoes and a few spots of a foam. My wife’s Halibut was also overdone and quite dry. At £40 for the two courses I would have expected a better meal. Had anyone inquired how our meal was we could have at least told them but no one came to our table.

We arrived slightly early and were delighted to get a window table right away. Our meal was served promptly and was very tasty and just the right portion. Dessert was tasty too! Certainly a restaurant I would return to.

Best meal so far in Scotland. We both got the 3 course meal, and each course was beautifully plated & tasted even better! Outstanding value as well.

Enjoyed the experience. Would go again. Great view from upper floors.

Service was really good. Staff friendly and no hanging around waiting for them to come over to take orders and check we didn't need anything. Food was delicious. Only minus was portion size could have been bigger but that's the way it seems to be these days. Otherwise very happy.

We love coming to Kitchen when we're in Inverness. We've been 3 times now and the food and service is always 10/10

The food was really really bland. I had the gnocchi and it was tasteless. You know something is wrong when you need to add salt to your food except if you are eating fish and chips. Also, I asked for a glass of champagne as this visit was for my friends birthday but they do not offer this but the glass. Disappointing, I should have booked the Rocpool.

Had pas dezelfde dag geboekt. Ondanks weekend toch nog kunnen boeken voor de avond. Kregen leuke plaats aan de raamzijde waardoor leuk uitzicht over de rivier en het kasteel.
