The Kitchen Restaurant

Loved the restaurant! The food was amazing and the views could not have been better, and we are already trying to plan our return to Inverness so that we can experience The Kitchen again. Your staff, by the way, is impeccable and without peer. If only I could lure them away to The Four Seasons here in New Orleans! Whatever their compensation it is not enough! Simply a wonderful experience and we are so fortunate to have booked. Thank you again.

Nice modern dining room right on the river. Good attentive service and decent cooking. We had lunch menu which was reasonably priced.

From our charming greeting by Damon at reception, to meeting with Lucy with her advice re the menu at our table, to the food itself it was a wonderful experience. Staff were really friendly and knowledgable and made us feel very welcome. If we’re ever back in Inverness, we will definitely be back in The Kitchen! The venue came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint. Thank you.

Only disappointment was that there was no chicken available that day on lunch menu which would have been first choice. Beef cheeks were very good though.

Great food, good service (albeit better options at this price point locally). The restaurant offered a better experience prior to the forced two course model that has been introduced. An a la carte option would feel more relaxed / inviting (rather than the first impression being instructed that you have to have two courses). Restating it just brings the lack of flexibility immediately to your attention. Food is good though. Venison was excellent. Fondant potatoes were okay (not really fondant potatoes, but were tasty nonetheless).

The perfect place for fine dining with a view! Super friendly and welcoming staff, the food was absolutely delicious and very high end. You could taste every ingredient and the flavours were just divine. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very calm and you have direct views to the river, bridge and castle, perfect for sundowner drinks. I would definitely come again when in the area!

Food was good and our waitress lovely. However there was an inflexibility about the rules which was not customer focused. No small Prosecco ( the only sparkling wine choice) but no possibility of a glass! No sparkling water although it was offered. No tablet with coffee. No possibility of moving to an unoccupied table for four at the window. This was later occupied by two people. All this did not reflect the price of £40 per head for two early evening corses.. All this explained the empty tables.?

The Kitchen Restaurant is a nice place to eat. The food is great and the waiters were really joyful ! We particularly appreciated our waitress who was kind and spoke with us ! We will surely come back !

The food and location was excellent. Unfortunately our server was not attentive at the end of our dining. He took too long to get us our bill.

Portions were tasty but very small. A single piece of bread with soup is 1 course of a 40 pound, 2 course meal? My halibut was also delicious, as were the accompanying offerings, but also very small. Service was slow. Better value elsewhere.

The food was excellent but could have been served hotter. The plates were nice and hot but the soups and braised cheeks could have been hotter. Again the wine was excellent but could have been much more chilled. If that was sorted it would have been top marks all across the board. Just to add the young lady who waited on us was lovely.

Gute Küche und guter Service, aber man fühlt sich etwas gestresst im zugeteilten Zeitfenster von 1 1/2 Stunden. Ist zu sehr auf Umsatz ausgerichtet. Zudem wurde unser Wunsch nach einem Tisch im oberen Stockwerk ohne Begründung sec abgelehnt

Excellent service and enjoyable meal. Only missed out on "excellent" score as there seemed to be a lack of any flexibility to provide a salad for one of my guests. It did not spoil a delicious meal though.

Perfectly amazing staff serving amazing food. We have dined in other restaurants in Inverness however can honestly recommend the Kitchen for delicious food at reasonable price.

We visited on a wet rainy Friday evening for dinner. Everything was great, from the food to the service to the excellent after dinner cocktails. Our only feedback would be that the dining areas were exceptionally warm to the point of sweating at the table. Would still highly recommend!

Tolles Lokal, aufmerksamer, persönlicher und freundlicher Service, herborragendes Essen, tolles Ambiente.

The waitresses we had upstairs tonight were absolutely phenomenal and made the night even that much better! We are on vacation visiting and had the best experience! Can’t wait to tell friends and come back again!
