The Ley Inn

As always, the food, surroundings, service and atmosphere were excellent. The deal on offer was good (two courses for £11.95) and the free bottle of birthday wine for fob holders, was not just restricted to one type of house wine.

The service was prompt and staff were friendly. The food was tasty but the teryaki steak seemed to be a steak with just a saucevover the top rather than properly marinaded. The restaurant is pleasant and offers relaxing surroundings where you can enjoy your meal without being rushed.

The service was slow. We had a long wait for average food. Previous visits were much better for menu, service and food and was as busy.

Nice eating area, staff are friendly, the selection of food is great and caters for all tastes and the food itself is very nice I would recommend this to anyone in the local area.

Took my mother and father in law here, food was great and service overall was great! Thank you for a good night. We enjoyed and will come back.

A lovely sunday evening meal with plenty of Gluten free options - the gluten free crumble and custard was delicious! All the staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. We will be back!

Terrible experience. Ludicrously expensive awful food. Long 45 minute wait, sat under a loud speaker play thrash metal music. Further waiting around just pay the bill. Rude unhelpful staff. Will never go again. Avoid ! I see this place has been reviewed as a 'Joke' before. Now beyond a joke !

Nice food and good service in pleasant surroundings. Very pleasant staff who despite us being the last in the restaurant didn't pressure us to leave. Will definitely go again.

We have been quite a few times but the last 2 times when it has been busy we have had to wait a long time for our meals. We where booked in at 7.15, Our starters arrived at 8.45, we could see people getting fed up and 3 people walked out which does not give a good atmosphere. Very disapointing

Excellent service and food at the Ley Inn, nothing too much trouble even though it was a very busy evening we had a lovely meal. We were told there may be a wait for food as the pub was busy but we only had to wait about 10 minutes. Recommended

shown straight to our table. Got the drinks order slightly wrong but more than made up for it with great food and service. Beautfully decorated. Only think I can complain about is the toilet cubicles are far too small. Any one that's large will really struggle in the first cubicle.

Excellent food. Looking forward to 3 course Sunday Lunch. So much on the plates could only manage 2 courses. Great value for the money. Will definitely be back.

Lots of things to try on the menu after already visiting a few times. Amazing food for good prices. Only downside this visit was the waiting time. 45 minutes after starter for main to arrive
