About The Lobster Pot

So dedicated to providing diners with the freshest seafood, every morning The Lobster Pot’s owner goes to Billingsgate and New Covent Garden markets to handpick the very best produce. Specialising in seafood, you’ll find an array of French-inspired dishes on the menu, as well as choices for vegetarians and meat lovers too. We recommend going for The Lobster Pot’s signature lobster, freshly cooked to order or trying some Les Crabes Bleus de Chine, sauce à l’ail & au Cidre de Bretagne (blue swimming crabs with a garlic and cider sauce, to be eaten with your hands!). With a stellar wine list too, The Lobster Pot has all of the ingredients for a special night night out in London’s Kennington area. You’ll find it on Kennington Lane, book ahead to avoid disappointment!

Fabulous tasting menu. The lobster was a delight as were the halibut and sea bass dishes. The venue is nice and cosy and the staff were friendly.

Delightful small restaurant with friendly service, delicious food, mainly fish, and a civilised buzz of conversation. We've been there many times and hope to go many times more.

I love the Lobster Pot! Friendly staff and faultless food. This place comes from a time when London was made up of villages loosely joined together which gives it a pleasantly cosmopolitan but cosy atmosphere. Book, turn up, order anything! You won't regret it.
