Our final visit before the restaurant closes. It was good to see Herve and his wife again. We chose the tasting menu which was fantastic and the wines were lovely.
Fabulous tasting menu. The lobster was a delight as were the halibut and sea bass dishes. The venue is nice and cosy and the staff were friendly.
Delightful small restaurant with friendly service, delicious food, mainly fish, and a civilised buzz of conversation. We've been there many times and hope to go many times more.
I love the Lobster Pot! Friendly staff and faultless food. This place comes from a time when London was made up of villages loosely joined together which gives it a pleasantly cosmopolitan but cosy atmosphere. Book, turn up, order anything! You won't regret it.
We had a brilliant night at the lobster pot, superb food, delicious wine and really friendly staff made us feel right at home. We will be back
Pleasant intimate dining with a nautical theme. Food worth the price!! Enjoyed dinner with husband and parents. Prompt service- need to explore the taster menu next time!!
My first visit.....this is an excellent restaurant with a quirky, authentic, sea-faring decor. We had the 8 course fish bonanza (with lobster option)......and all fish courses were amazing. Also, they arrived at a perfect rate......we were never waiting too long and never feeling rushed (we were perhaps less enthused by the 2 'puddings'). Not cheap, but well worth it. We will return to try the more standard menu.
We wanted to eat lobster and found this restaurant. The groupon voucher helped as lobster is expensive. The restaurant has a quirky atmosphere with fish and items from the sea/boats on display. There was also the sound of seagulls. We loved all this as we love the sea. All the food was excellent, perfectly cooked and interesting. The service was also excellent. Hope to go back soon.
