Very nice food , the lobster and prawns are amazing. I normally visit the Mansfield road restaurant for convenience but after going to beeston I will definitely be back .
Portion sized were relatively small for price, particularly the sharing platter starter. Otherwise, food was relatively good quality. Service was good, although initially overcharged on reciept
Went to the Lonster Pot for a birthday celebration, staff were polite and friendly, and the food was amazing! Had the sharing platter for starters, half lobster and king scallops for mains, then eton mess and sticky toffee pudding for desert. Will definitely be going back!
It’s was brilliant A PLUS. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO OTHER PEOPLE , SERVICE WAS QUICK AND FRIENDLY AND FOOD WAS AMAZING ,BEST LOBSTER YOU CAN TASTE
Lovely fresh food - very tasty and with excellent service. I have been a number of times now and would recommend to anyone especially if you like fish.
Very good. Will go again soon. Quality of food and service first class. Good parking too. Lobster Thermidor is rare in Nottingham and very good too. David
Food was nice, expected more though! Service was very slow! We had to ask for a drink when we came in, we then waited over an hour for our food! Half came out and we sat waiting for about 5 minutes for our other half to come too! We then had to ask for some cutlery and query where a drink was we asked for 10 minutes ago! Little disappointed but would try again
Good starters and my main of noodles was nice , partners rice dish a little bland. Good portions decent value for money and good service.
The food was fine, our party of five had 12 oysters, chowder and garlic bread, followed by Thai mussels x 3 the duck and beef and pork burger. The waiting staff were very friendly and helpful but we waited for 50 minutes for our starters and a further hour for the main course. The white wine wasn't chilled nor did it come in wine cooler. Over all we were not impressed, we have dined in your restaurant a couple of times previously and thought that the food and service were great. We made it known that we were not happy but understand that the problems originated in the kitchen not with the waiting staff who were very pleasant and helpful. The occasion was our 45th wedding anniversary and we did not want to spoil the evening by having a row in front of our family. I had thought to post an adverse review on Trip Advisor but have held off doing so until I hear from you as to your thought on our dining experience. My husband and I went to the Lobster Pot in Beeston as it was my Wedding Anniversary, We had been to the one in Nottingham a few months before as we couldn't get a table at the Beeston one as it was always booked up, However I noticed an advert on Facebook for The Lobster Pot in Beeston and I booked on line and managed to get in and to top the night off all I had to do was quote "FACEBOOK" and we got free starters,The food was all delicious and the menu varied and it was really hard to choose as the were some many lovely dishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and we will be back sooner than later as my Lobster was absolutely fantastic and both my husband and I will be back.
service was awful, waiting for drinks, waiting for food over an hour without any warning, atmosphere was cold and empty and felt more like a greasy spoon than a restaurant. very disappointing experience will not be going back - ever!
Amazing 🙌🏾 Food was fantastic the staff was attentive it was a great experience will definitely be returning. Heard really good things about the lobster pot beeston and we wasn't let down.
We had our first visit to the restaurant last night. It was an agreeable experience. The menu whilst surprisingly limited was adequate. Especially as our preference was fish related. The staff were fun and approachable which was refreshing in a world where waiting on patrons appears to be a disagreeable experience for all involved. The ambiance was to my eye very retro slash 70's. If this was a deliberate ploy then they have been successful. There was a real air of east coast USA shabby chic/utility restaurant. Where one might rub shoulders with hairy truckers as well as the rich and famous. All in all a good evening with excellent food and service from Jamie and the waitress whose name we did not acquire. Sorry, maybe next time. Thank you. Kind regards Joe and Chris.
Excellent meal as always, great friendly professional service, member of the party had dietary requirements and these were dealt with easily, totally recommend this restaurant
staff very nice and helpful. no real meat dishes for the non fish eaters , I ended up with a very expensive burger and my wife's lobster was overcooked. Didn't live up to the hype
We visited on a Friday night but we were the only ones in the restaurant. Worried that this may affect the quality of our visit but it didn't. Friendly staff helped put our minds at ease. All our food was delicious. Only damper was the price as you had for accompaniments such as chips and rice.
The service was lovely, but on this occasion the lobster was tough. That's unusual as we have had great lobster on previous occasions.. the lemon sole was quite excellent
Booked a last minute table on Saturday night. We opted for Lobster and Salmon with sides. We received a warm welcome and the service was excellent throughout. The food was absolutely delicious too!
