Always good food, service & atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend for for most occasions

Me & my friend regularly visit and always enjoy it. Good food and not bad prices. I appreciated the waitress asking me if I wanted my chips in vegetable oil rather than meat. We really enjoyed our meal but unfortunately the chef clocked off early (7:55pm) & declined our dessert order which was a real shame, fortunately we went to Wetherspoons instead and got 2 lovely puds! We will be returning of course!

I met a friend at Lord Rodney for lunch this week. Service was very friendly & the food very good. I had the vegan burger which was so massive I couldn’t finish it. The surroundings are very comfortable & t was an excellent experience. We are regular customers as it’s consistently good.

Little things make a difference - a plug socket at the table (at table height) was fab as we were having a working lunch and could plug a laptop in! Staff were very friendly and profession, food was lovely.

Great staff and fantastic food will definitely be going again!

The food was absolutely amazing as always. Staff were extremely smiley and friendly.

The chips were undercut there wasnt much choice of food and the staff waant very interested in rectiftiying the problem and the service was a long wait had to go to the var to order stuff

Went for quick meal before the cinema. Staff helpful as ever. I booked last minute but they managed to get us a booth which was good. Food and service are always very good

Lovely food . The inside was nice and the staff were all attentive. Tom the bar man was very good. No faults on anything.

Good food. Excellent well kept beer & a good range of wines & spirits. The pizzas are particularly recommended & they do a good Sunday roast as well. Friendly helpful staff & a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, good portion sizes and great menu options. Pub classics, something different or specials board on offer. I had the hanging kebab, my friend had the fish and chips (looked like fish shop standards 😊) and my other friend had nachos veggie friendly option. Everyone rated their meal highly. Value for money was fantastic no quibbles as portions were great and quality was very good. The atmosphere was pleasant it was a lucky find. Noise level OK fair few children in and a couple of larger parties but not too bad, too be expected we didn't have to talk too loudly to hear each other. Service was very friendly and helpful. Gave us time to study the menu, took a drinks order promptly.

Lovely meal, great staff attention and efficient table service. Only improvement could have been a bit more colourful - Brown beef stew with roast potatoes roast parsnips & red cabbage - all a bit samey (although exceedingly tasty!)

The Christmas food was great. Staff were fab ensured we got everything we wanted. Enjoyed lots of cocktails. Won't be long before were back. X
