Best roast I’ve ever had in a pub. I was really hungry and was grateful for a big plate of roast chicken. Absolutely delicious, can’t fault it. Was told the secret to the gravy & I’ll take it to my grave. Staff were so nice & friendly & we’ll see again soon. Thank you all.

We were asked to move before we were ready as it was Quiz Night. It would have been better if we had been given a table for the whole evening. The food was okay but the service not so, what with waiting around to be served and although our table had no 20 on it we we were told that we we were on no 26. On the whole it was not a very customer friendly experience.

Really great hearty roast, massive portion with all the trimmings! Well worth the hour commute. Would’ve been nice to end the meal with a good crumble n custard though!

Friendly staff, lovely pub cat at our table which I was very happy about! Waiting time for food was perfect; food was okay, not as great as I had anticipated following recommendations from a friend however we don't eat meat so maybe its just the veggie roast that needs some work as opposed to the meat roasts. Roast potatoes were tough and we didn't get any yorkshire puddings which should have been included.

We both had a Sunday roast which was absolutely HUGE! We noticed they offered smaller portions for half the price which we initially dismissed, but would genuinely consider next time. Yorkshire pudding was particularly good, as was the roast pork, but the whole thing was an excellent standard. The pub itself is lovely with a great selection of drinks, a cosy interior at the front and a nice dining room to the rear with lots of sunlight and an open kitchen. There's also a large beer garden at the back. The staff were fantastic as well.
