Good food and great service, very friendly and efficient staff. A lovely place for casual lunch with friends.
Having now been several times for Sunday lunch, the food and service at the Lyndhurst is consistently good.
Delicious food, excellent and friendly service, reasonable prices, cozy atmosphere
Very enjoyable visit. Food is delicious, atmosphere relaxed (we had the sunday roast). Staff are extremely friendly and attentive.
Lovely meal. Disappointing no real ale. What has gas pressure got to do with hand pumps
It's a great place - food, service and atmos all very good.
Stunning food from start to finish, and great atmosphere and service.
Great food but the real stand out was the staff.
Excellent service adjusting the menu to accommodate personal preference. Tasty Exmoor beer and good value wine.
Great food and excellent service. The staff were lovely too
Great food, great atmosphere, fab staff and excellent service. Thanks
Excellent evening, helpful and friendly staff. Food was excellent too
As always the food and welcome here were brilliant. Will always recommend!

Lovely pub to have a Sunday roast great service and atmosphere
Great staff! Great location and great beer. Loved it lots
Really lovely meal and service. Would highly recommend, great evening.
Went for a Sunday roast and it was amazing, I did have a slight issue with the pudding but the staff were great and changed it very quickly.
So lovely! Had a great time (loved the games), and the vegan options were great! Such a nice pub, will definitely be back soon! Thanks!
A lovely cosy pub with a really well cooked Sunday Roast. They were very accommodating when we asked for a special meal for our Son. Highly recommended to all. Thank you, we'll be back!
Another lovely meal and a great evening at the Lyndhurst. Busy Friday evening but service was still friendly and efficient. We will definitely visit again.
Great Food! Nice place, good location as well, unsure about parking though. People are very nice, and good selection on food as well. Highly Recommend!
Service was extremely good, the bar man was very attentive. Food tasty and the inside of the pub was very nice. The G&T was well presented.
Lovely date night. Great food and the staff were fab.
Had a lovely early Christmas dinner with the family. Staff were fantastic!
Great service and delicious food, a firm favourite. Wide range of drinks (especially gin), and also seasonal beers. Super friendly staff, we will come back again.
Good food & service. Would definitely go back again the next time I am visiting. Good pricing too. We had a Sunday lunch, the pork was great
Really good lunch, relaxed environment excellent food, no rush - the hostess made us very welcome from the minute we went in the door. Great Sunday afternoon.
Such Delicious food and incredibly friendly staff that can’t do enough to make you feel welcome! Will definitely recommend to everyone that want a traditional Sunday Roast!
Friendly staff. Totally agreed with me and apologised when I said I thought the beer was past its best and changed it no problem. Food was good
Went for Sunday lunch with high expectations- the starters were good, but the flat iron steak was tough and had to ask for steak knife to cut and really had to chew, plus roast potatoes were only just warm - so main course very disappointing - same for my wife, and bearing in mind we went for a Sunday lunch ( classic pub style ?) ,it did not deliver on the expectations - although my daughters fish was great. The lunch is billed as £20 for two courses but they charge per item and then discount on the bill- very confusing and did not seem to be a good deal on some combinations. Service was generally fine, although we had to search for help at times even though only small restaurant. It was busy , so the locals must think OK, but I do not think we would go back .
Starter and dessert excellent. Sunday Roast itself miles below their usual high standards which was a shame. Service as normal was really good however so no drama.
Excellent food and service - beautifully presented plates, and meals like a very high quality/Michelin restaurant. Empty when we arrived about 7pm but soon filled up.
Don't let the relaxed surroundings fool you, the attention to detail at the Lyndie is fantastic, the service is spot on and the food and cocktails are amazing.
not particularly quick, and some of the dishes didn't quite match the menu descriptions, but the food was lovely and the staff were very friendly
Everyone has his own 'bad days', and restaurants are not immune. This time we were not satisfied with the food at all. I hope this was a temporary défaillance. The Scotch egg was good, the duck confit so hard that was challenging to cut, the dessert was ok. One side note about the catch of the day: good but the portion was small for the price. That was the comment of one of the diners. So I hope that was only an unfortunate day.
High quality as usual. Top notch food cooked properly. I'll rebook it soon
The burgers we had were really nice. The dessert with salted caramel as well : they know definitely how to cook well. Very good service as well.
Food was good but service is very slow. Gave up waiting for them to take our dessert order and just paid and left. Nice staff but feels lacking in management.
