Friendly, helpful staff. Nice ambience. Good pub grub and very convenient for an early meal when going to De Montfort Hall. Enjoyed the visit and will return.

Sunday roast was rather disappointing. Overcooked yorkshire pudding and promised crackling when queried where it was we were told not available with that type of pork joint!

Ordered a pot of tea but it was forgotten, tasted good when did turn up but hey could have filled the pot so got mor than one small cup after all it's only extra water. Food was good had chicken burger and steak pie both were good

Average food , excellent service . - few issues with food such as getting cabbage not peas with the pie and cold chocolate sauce but nothing major

Table ready when we arrived, quick service, good food, drink prices reasonable friendly staff. Excellent location for De Monfort Hall, only a 5 minute walk, will certainly visit again when in Leicester.

Really nice - proper pub with quality food, they reserved us a booth as requested and it was nice place to have a meal. Would definitely visit again.

Went here with 7 others after booking and pre-ordering. Food was excellent and service was great also considering it was a Friday night. Would definitely recommend for great pub food and good selection of ales.

The Marquis Wellington is a cool and pleasant pub with nice food and has a good variety of beverages. The staff is also very friendly.

Lovely olde worldy pub with modern touches. Spacious outdoor area, with plenty of seating. All the staff are welcoming, friendly and polite. Service was quick and the food was to high standard and my choice was homemade. Can't fault the place.

Excellent food great service would reccomend as a great palce to meeet Eat nd drink with friends or colleagues. Quick service meant we could relax and enjoy our food before heading on to wahtch a show at DeMontfort hall which is just around the corner. we will deffinitly visit again

Really nice outside eating area, friendly staff, complimentary infused water, I had cucumber and was told the flavour changes daily, food and drinks around £35 for two people

Great food and quality, good service even though it was absolutely packed for the LCFC Celebrations, fab back garden/terrace real sun trap. Had a great time.

Great food with a lovely atmosphere & friendly staff - highly recommend. I can't fault anything about the evening. One of our daughters is a vegetarian & for once she was even spoiled for choice. A good place for family dinning, business or a catch up with friends over a bottle of wine - will definitely return.

Had to complain one person in our party had beetroot and mackerel salad,there was only a teaspoon of mackerel on it ,I had fish and chips ,it wasn't fish just batter ,my husband waited 45mins for his to come which was ok he said ,but we had to run to the theatre or we would have been late ,we where given a two meal refund and this is why I have given as ore off 2 ,we asked to see the manager and was told he wasn't there ,but he was because I saw him ,we will not be visiting again

Great food and good service, staff were friendly and we were well attended to, was slightly cold in the pub. Good choice of vegetarian food

Good pub food. Great steak and ale pie, massive Yorkshire pud with stew and good burgers. Nice ale. What more could you ask? Try it.

Awful service, very slow, bar service didn't look like they knew what they were doing. Seemed surprised when I said I'd booked a table. Food came out late and cold - nothing was done to remedy the situation despite 2 members of staff being aware of the cold food. Will not be returning!!!! Shame, as I perform nearby on a regular basis and will be telling all people I know not to go to the Marquis.

Service was great, really friendly and food was beautiful pub grub! Pub was busy and created a fab atmosphere - great for pre De Montfort Hall gigs.

Very nice food.... a welcoming pub.... staff were very good at their jobs.....also, the range of drinks available were interesting... what was good, many of the beers etc had ther own dedicated pint glasses... will visit again

We had booked a table for early evening so It wasn't busy when we arrived. Food was good, I had a Burger which was tasty. Service was good
