When we are in the area the Mayflower has been our choice of venue for an evening meal for some time and we are never disappointed. The service is excellent, the food good and it arrives quickly. The atmosphere is pleasant and the river views lovely.

Great location, friendly staff and great food. Took my teenage boys who appreciated the burger option while I had a traditional roast beef. Also very easy to book but worth booking a few weeks ahead as very popular.

The Mayflower is steeped in character and history, with a great atmosphere and really friendly and attentive staff. If it's haute cuisine you're looking for, then this may not be the choice for you, but go if you like a good value, honest pub meal, in a special place.

Amazing little place. Steeped with history, delicious food and very friendly staff. Would definitely go back again especially in the summer when you can use their outside area and literally sit on top of the Thames!

Great venue and staff. This should be enough. I do not see any point in waffling on with verbal diarrhoea. This way you are likely to get fewer reviews than is deserved

Food was good but the whole experience felt a bit rushed. Food appeared within a couple of minutes of ordering it, and some was lukewarm.

Great historical building with loads of atmosphere , nice food, and attentive staff. Next time I'll book a table by the window as there's such a brilliant view! Do they do ghost hunts here, I wonder!

As usual, excellent all-round service and food. Had to wait a little time for our starters tonight, but everything else bang on. The wine was good but advertised as cab sav when it was a cab sav-merlot mix.

A very pleasant evening in a noisy, busy restaurant. Hardly any delay in ordering drinks/food, that arrived promptly. A good atmosphere and very lively. Happy to re-visit.

Really nice atmospheric pub and fantastic pub quiz! Would thoroughly recommend. Didn't try the food but it looked amazing. Drinks are standard London prices. The pub has a really nice feel - v Dickensian.

Lovely old pub on the river, selling great beers and wines. The food is above the usual "pub grub" offering great choice all presented nicely and tastes great, the front of house are very accommodating and pleasant attentive to you. To sum up a great pub reflected by its popularity.

Great food and ambiance, the only problem was that we had a two hour slot and as we arrived a bit late it felt a bit like we needed to finish before the next people arrived.

The food was not good at all. I had the steak which was chewy and potatoes which were saggy and smelt bad. My company had the lamb salad. It didn't feel fresh. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere nice but the food needs to be improved.
