This was a great dinner, with great service--overall a lovely experience. They were out of the beed Sunday dinner, and one of the pot pies. Other than that, perfect.
Cute pub! The meal was delicious, the views were great and service was very attentive. I would definitely recommend this pub. Definitely make a booking tho!
Lovely food and good service. Really convenient spot local to us and a beautiful view from the restaurant. It can get crowded downstairs so book ahead to sit upstairs
Really enjoy going every time!! Delicious food (especially the pies!!), lovely atmosphere, polite service:-) right on the river with beautiful view! I can't fault it!
A lovely pub. Me and my girlfriend were here Yesterday evening. We really appreciated the drinks and the good dishes except for the fish and chips,( too wet). The pub is located on the Thames with a beautiful view over the balcony. We highly recommend this place!
Very special experience in candle light. Good food and sensible prices. I like their food and it comes fast. Recommended to boyfriend to get their girlfriend for romantic night.
Great food; excellent service at a very busy time - we booked for 8 people but 4 more turned up. Will definitely come again and will recommend it to friends.
A real step back in time with a cosy feel. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly. Set on the river thames with great views towards the city.
Wonderful food (esp. pork chop special) and friendly expert service in a magical location looking over the river. We had a very enjoyable evening indeed.
Fantastic setting, wonderful old pub, great food at a reasonable price given it's in central London. Lots of atmosphere. Good range of real ales. Friendly service.
Fantastic atmosphere, loved the candles and friendly staff. Strongly recommend the roast: perfectly tender, enormous Yorkshire pudding and wonderfully potent horse radish sauce. Great place!
We had dinner in the first floor and the setting was amazing with many candles and a great view on the river. I suggest to book a table. The food and beer are very good.
Beautiful historical pub by the Thames. Wonderful atmosphere and really buisy but makes you feel like home. Will definetely include it on my pub walk in London.
Cosy, delicious roast, not too loud, friendly waitress, the price-value relationships is really good and you have a lovely view of the river if you're close to the window
Quasi impossibile trovare posto senza prenotazione. Difficile non aver voglia di tornarci.
Lovely food and lovely staff and well deserved of its popularity. I would highly reccomend it (even though that would make it even harder to get a table!). :-)
second time I've eaten here, first was downstairs in the pub and second was upstairs in the restaurant bit as we booked to ensure a space to eat. The food was lovely, hard to decide what to have as it all sounds so good. First time I had something off the specials board and second time off the menu. Both great. Staff were very friendly and the bill comes in a tiny treasur chest!
Food was delicious and service friendly. I had an ale, atehalloumi and mushroom burger, followed by cheese board and a chocolate tart dessert. Thoroughly enjoyed! Recommend!
Always a lovely meal and great service, I go here regularly and I am never disappointed. The food is delicious and always have a variety of specials
Fantastic food from the bar and restaurant, and great servicing, the atmosphere was great as well, I have been a regular customer and have not been disappointed so far.
Cosy pub with a lovely restaurant upstairs. Very tasty pies and cheeseboard. Good wine list plus Meantime on tap! It was good service. I'll be back!
Great meal as usual! The staff are very efficient and professional and warm. The pub is always very busy but still retains charm and comfort.
Great food, stunning view, good service to make up for confusion over booking (online system let them down, sort it out Quandoo!). Will be back soon!
Lovely quaint little restaurant. Great atmosphere and great food! Menu had a lot of choice and the decor was old fashioned which suited the atmosphere.
Food was excellent and good portions the mayflower had a homely feel and the staff were friendly and efficient a bit cramped in the snug table too small for three people that is the only critism been there twice in one week
Great location, great food, great beer, great stuff! Not more to say... We will got there again on our next visit to London, for sure!
The Mayflower is a pub with character, along with great service and food - we'll be back! The venison pie and sticky toffee pudding were especially good.
Great location, friendly staff and great food. Took my teenage boys who appreciated the burger option while I had a traditional roast beef. Also very easy to book but worth booking a few weeks ahead as very popular.
Food and drink fine I did not like being harassed to leave at 1935 (we had an 1800 booking), especially as we had finished eating and asked for the bill half an hour earlier If the pub operates a 90 minute turnaround it should make it clear. If, as I suspect it doesn't, there was no need for this - it spoilt our overall experience
A warm welcome to the upstairs restaurant. Very extensive menu, good cooking and plenty of wines to choose from We had a really jolly and enjoyable time.
When we are in the area the Mayflower has been our choice of venue for an evening meal for some time and we are never disappointed. The service is excellent, the food good and it arrives quickly. The atmosphere is pleasant and the river views lovely.
Excellent as always. Great service, beer and food. The cheese board is the best.
Last friday. Good food. The staff wasn't friendly and always in a hurry! We were in delay (our fault) but they had to tell that they could no longer serve us the dinner!
Great location and great roast dinner! Humungous Yorkshire puddings - that will impress all your overseas visitors whilst you dazzle them with the history of the pub!
Good food, good wine and a great atmosphere. It is my favourite local and always take my parents and friends here when they come to visit.
big portions, fair price, good atmosphere, service was attentive. table was ready all in all a very good experience. would recommend. the big plus is how long the mayflower has been around !!
We have been to the Mayflower on lots of occasions. It is always excellent. Great Sunday roast and very good service. Lovely beer too! Looking forward to the next time we visit.
Cozy candlelit pub with excellent food and service. All the pub traditionals steak pies, ham egg and chips, whitebait and fish and chips all delicious!
lovely staff, friendly, attentive, polite and efficient and professional. Food was tasty and despite the healthy portions managed to get through it! highly recommend the place although any busier i would need to book a year in advance!
Food was good but the whole experience felt a bit rushed. Food appeared within a couple of minutes of ordering it, and some was lukewarm.
Great food especially the pies! We always have pies and the atmosphere is food too with excellent service and friendly staff. We always take our visitors there from the states and from France and they say that it is an experience that they won't forget.
Amazing little place. Steeped with history, delicious food and very friendly staff. Would definitely go back again especially in the summer when you can use their outside area and literally sit on top of the Thames!
Great venue and staff. This should be enough. I do not see any point in waffling on with verbal diarrhoea. This way you are likely to get fewer reviews than is deserved
The Mayflower is steeped in character and history, with a great atmosphere and really friendly and attentive staff. If it's haute cuisine you're looking for, then this may not be the choice for you, but go if you like a good value, honest pub meal, in a special place.
The Mayflower has a rustic, warm, welcoming feeling. We had a lovely meal and the service was also excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit.
Excellent food, excellent service - a bit crammed but, hey, it's a really beautiful old historical pub! The place is full of character - especially the ground floor. Well worth a visit!
Great pub, great staff, great food and great value! We ended up going 2 times in 2 days because it's the perfect pub by the river. The ambience is wonderful. Would highly recommend.
Great Pub! The pies were good and abundant, even the chocolate dessert was excellent. But the best thing is the wonderful view of the Thames !!!
We were running late so rang to let them know...it was no problem. Staff were friendly, food was fantastic. Note: the portions are HUGE. Will definitely be going back!!
Really nice atmospheric pub and fantastic pub quiz! Would thoroughly recommend. Didn't try the food but it looked amazing. Drinks are standard London prices. The pub has a really nice feel - v Dickensian.
