The Mill

Service between courses was very slow. We thought they'd forgotten us! Otherwise the food and drinks were very good. It is worth noting that they don't offer their full menu on a Sunday and I saw no mention of this on the website.

Great service and excellent food! Had a great night, it was busy but the staff had a great overview and was very friendly. We'll certainly go back another time!

Excellent menu, loads of choice especially with the range of burgers. Service was great and generally a good atmosphere. Great choice for a spot of afternoon lunch.

Very impressed with friendly service and courteous staff. All our meals were enjoyed by all of our part. We will definitely be going to The Mill again and would recommend it to our friends.

we got to the mill for opening dead in 12 o' clock. as we walked in a young girl was coming out the kitchen on her mobile phone never greeted or welcomed us to the mill. i told her our reservation number. and she pointed us to some tables we asked her what table we were sitting at and she just said any. and then we asked again if we could sit. here and said risky said any of these two. we asked for two drinks one diet one normal she then plonked them on the table. we asked which one was diet then put her finger on the rim of the glass and said that one. we drank our drinks paid at bar and left very rude member of staff. didn't feel welcome. as driving out the car park the manager had waved us down and apologised for this. which we did appreciate. i am a regular to the mill and this is the second time i have been felt unwelcome

The Mill is a lovely place and the staff are really friendly.The food is amazing the lasagne is the best I have ever tasted.Love it ❤

Gorgeous steaks and Parmo's and desserts to die for. (Chocolate brownie was a big hit with the kids) Really pleasant and family friendly place. Will definitely be back.

The second time we have been here in the past 5 weeks. It's a perfect meeting point for us & family. The food, service & atmosphere were as fabulous this time as the first time we visited. I booked for 4 of us, with no issues when I increased to 6. We ordered a variety of food - parmo, kebab, burger & Thai curry. All of us enjoyed it hugely. Desserts were equally as tasty & scoffed very quickly. The bill for 6 mains/3 desserts/3 coffees & drinks was a very reasonable £93. Thank you & we look forward to coming back.

As usual the food was excellent. There seemed to be fewer staff than normal so the waitress serving us was very busy. She coped very well but the service was slower than normal. Just had to get another round of drinks so every cloud has a silver lining.

Great pub, would strongly recommend this place to anyone meal was fantastic, portions are great were full when we left excellent value for money and staff are wonderful

Great food at reasonable prices the staff are friendly and very professional and the bar is well stocked with a great variety of spirits and draft beers all in all will definitely eat there again

Excellent meal. Had a real great night with my girlfriend, excellent place to go for a good quality feed. Not sure about buying a round of drinks for the staff for £20 though...

Staff wonderful , food very good too. Disappointed with brûlée, less than half in ramekin and a drizzle of sauce, yet last time ramekin was full and sauce was in little jug. Expected the same as last time but it wasn't so not worth £5.95.

Always amazing food and staff are always welcoming. First class food, love the lamb dinner on sunday and the parmo is definately worth a try.

Busy restaurant with excellent customer service. Portions are huge and are well cooked. I had cod and chips, the cod was succulent and very tasty. I will definitely visit here again. Make sure you book it was very busy.

Starters were ok, steaks were cooked as requested and nice and tender Crem brûlée pre prepared and the cinnamon apple crumble had a little to much cinnamon Meals Coke out quickly and the service is good, almost rushed

Fabulous lunch today at The Mill In Stokesley. We had Sunday Lunch & Fish and chips. Both meals were fabulous. And all the staff were helpful and very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

Always a very friendly welcome at the Mill in Stokesley, and you know you are going to get good quality food with great value Specials. As it was Thursday we had the 2 for 1 chicken fajitas. Great tasting dish washed down with a good draft ale.

Although the Mill was very busy as you would expect in December the service was great and the food was brilliant. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended.

The greeting as we arrived at the bar was good, we were served drinks and shown to our table. We were served promptly with our main course which was excellent. We asked to see the dessert menu which didn't materialise. We requested the dessert menu again and the lady serving apologised and brought the menu after a long delay. We then waited approximately 30 minutes and tried to attract her attention without success. We decided to ask for the bill and leave rather disappointed.

Service was good and the food and drinks we ordered came very fast. The chicken parmo I got was average and so we're the chips which is respective of the cheap price.

A very enjoyable lunch. My father had the fish and chips and I had the scampi and chips followed by the white chocolate and strawberry cheesecake. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent service and an exceptional meal. Easy parking . Value for money. An excellent choice of ales. Would recommend the venue to anybody and would suggest they they book in advance as is getting very popular

lovely meal however i do think the portion size of nachos for one was very large as in double dish - did ask waitress and was told no its for one .... but overall lovely meal

On the whole very good. The ban of all pudding was not good but was changed for another different pudding with no problem. Bit of a failure with booking over the website as only goes upto 6 and I wanted to book 8. Although I rang The Mill direct the number hadn't been changed. However it all worked out in the end.

Food very good. The moules marinier was amazing the best I have had in a long time. The toffee apple cheesecake and the chocolate fudge cake were delicious. The main course we had had the carvery.

A bit disappointing that there was no table set up for 5. When we have been before the staff have put a couple of tables together so that there is plenty of room. A chair stuck on a table for 4 wasn't so grand! However, service was OK and the food was good. Three of us had the Thai green curry, one a grilled chicken and a vegetarian risotto, all was enjoyable.

Sunday lunch is always amazing! Highly reccomended for lunch or evening meals. Loadd to choose from on the menu for adults & kids and a great selection of real ales.

Four of us went for lunch. The food was wonderful and the service was friendly and efficient overall an excellent visit. Would highly recommend it.
